Every people have their own way to choose work for living... you could be an employee working in some company, got monthly payments, routine jobs, etc... or you could be an entrepreneurs, having and doing your own company, maybe it's your dream company, being an owner, having different payment everyday (could be less or more)... Which one do you prefer (or what you do), being an employee or an entrepreneurs? If you wanted to be an entrepreneurs (owner), in what business?

I love working for myself, I don't have to worry about others, in fact, I don't even have to get dressed in the mornings because I work from home. It is the best move I ever made to stay home and work. There are so many benefits to it that I can't even begin to tell you!!

Hi there ledydien, welcome to mylot, hope you enjoy it already. Well, I like to be my own bos, however, I have not had any idea of what I would like to do so I still am a employee. I love what I do, as assistance nurse for elderly so I am fine as I am. But I would like to cut my working hours if I could and stay home and make money online. And I am doing fine so far. But not near enought to cut the working hours yet. I work fulltime, and that dry your energy out from doing things on your spare time. I rather would like to be able to work from home. At the moment I am a admin and supporter of a website and when it has grown I might be able to do just that.

Of course I will prefer being an entrepreneur than an employee. Me I am both, an entrepreneur and a government employee. I managed mu own boutique and gift shop. I earn more as an represented than an employee. Here you are the boss and you have all the rights to manage your business.

I am an employee and I feel sorry for my boss. He's extremely rich, has many business enterprises, six vehicles, and an equal number of luxury houses but never has a proper holiday. All his lunches, dinners, seminars,& trips abroad are business related. Even while on vacation which is not for more than 7 days, he e-mails us, calls us, gives us instructions. I, on the other hand, can have a care free vacation free of all responsibility, never have to think whether my business will collapse during my absence or whether my staff will go on strike. I got out with friends for lunch or dinner. If I feel like it, I relax at home and if I don't want to be bothered, I switch off my phone. I laze around the house wearing any old thing, read a book or watch a movie. I earn well and invest intelligently, and have travelled to more little known places than boss has ever been, because his trips are only to the major cities. Everyone cannot be an entrepreneur, and if you have what it takes, fine, be a boss and enjoy the challenge, the stress and the punishment. But for me, I'm happy as I am and I'm thankful to God for all the blessings he has given me.

if i could it's better to be the boss than just a mere employee. you will enjoy most of the benefits and the time is that flexible. you can express all the ideas that you have to make your company grow and expand. for some time being an employee is a pain in the neck.aside from the hectic schedule to follow you are in the office for the whole day and can't even have time to unwind even if you want to.

i want to be employee because i don't want to just waste my whole time for work so hard,i know many bosses are very very busy they always have no much free time .they have to work and they don't really have time to relax.i dont' like that way.anyway.to be boss can get much more money than to be employee.but the price is time and relax.i would love to choose to be free and relax.

An entrepreneur ofcourse! I hope to be one soon and will definitely post my intentions at that opportune moment. Its quite a challenge and may look rosy, but believe me, you'll feel like becoming an employee within days of starting one.

well..my opinion on this question is I prefer to be an entrepreneur..but before being an entrepreneur..you have to know how being an employee goes.. because u wont be a good and effective boss if u didn't experience to be at the lower positions..anyways being an entrepreneur both have an advantage and a disadvantage..when your the boss u are incharge of everything that's a very vast scope, wen you're an employee you are in charge of a certain task..being an entrepreneur is you are incharge of major decisions.... I prefer being en entrepreneur because i can have my own decisions and i can help jobless people to earn for their living at the same time i cn earn for myself too.

well, i guess u are right about all of that, that's also one of the reason why i keep on trying to be an entrepreneurs...

I would rather be an employee- i'm not one to take risks, and I would like a stable job with a normal routine. When being an entrepreneur, you face many obstacles, risks, and the unexpected. This lifestyle may be for some, but not for me.

Hi there, I'm working right now, but I want to be an entrepeneur one day.. :) Being an entrepeneur will bring us more stress and uncertainty than being an employee.. But at the same time, I can have more spaces to expand.. Each option is risky to me, but being an employer would worth to risk for.. ;) My current job is as a marketing on a bank, but my work place offers the marketers a flexible work hours.. I can be outside the office during work time, and this offer me a chance for another money source, Either get another job, or maybe make a bussiness.. :) I'm trying to build my own bussiness now, hope that'll work out.. ;) Thanks!

That'll work out, and you can be more safe... because it'll hard at the first time to build a business... Thank you

Being an entrepreneurs sound interesting; I mean who doesn't want to be a boss, giving orders for the staff to work, I do and my partner does as well. Working fopr somebody is no fun... I am sure being an entrepreneur needs to take a lots of pressure and make lots of big decisions but if it is what we want, we have to go over it and make it successful, I wish we could become entreprenurs.

I love being an entrepreneur than being an employee. As an employee i cannot make my own decision - i had to ask my boss first. As an entrepreneurs i can make all of my decision on my own and nobody will mad at me for doing that decision (unless it involves creditors, suppliers, service providers - of course they'll mad if i decided not to pay them on time) But on the contrary, being employee you don't have to worry not getting salary as that's your boss problem. Its your right. But as entrepreneurs you can't get mad at anyone not buying your goods/services for the month, right? But i still like being an entrepreneurs based on first reason. Plus i can't stand being in stress condition for a long time.

Right now I am an employee working for a boss so i have to listen to orders and scoldings however I am also a law student and once my degree is over I am no more going to work for any boss but for myself. This is what makes me go to work everyday else who would have to listen to the scoldings and curses of a boss like mine, everyone in the office is fed up with him now but till my studies does not finish I have to work there only.

I love to be an entrepreneur rather than an employee. I have always dreamt of having my own business someday. I have always been a business-minded person. I know i will be more successful being an entrepreneur because with this, I can control my own income. I mean, if I work harder, I earn more. but with being an employee, you work harder, the boss earn more. This is the reason why businessmen are the richest people in the world. Currently, I haven't heard of the richest employee in the world. lol. I know I will also be able to put up my own business someday. I'm planning either putting up a restaurant or a bar... :)
