What makes a MyLot task worth accepting, to you?

I enjoy the $2 and $3 MyLot tasks, and find them extremely worth my while. They are usually 500 words or less, or several paragraphs. The point of me doing them is that I can make more money in a short time than I could make posting on MyLot. Those types of tasks pay slightly more than the freelance work I do. I also will do something that takes five or ten minutes, for ten cents or more. I will not do a writing task that obviously will require research for fifty cents for five hundred words. That is not worth it to me. What MyLot task is worth your attention?

I'll take them at any price, the least I've ever seen is for $2.00. They are a great way to earn some extra cash. I already write for a couple of sites so its something that I'm comfortable with.

I write for a contractor for freelance. I am signed up at other sites but have neglected them. Where else do you write?

I have never heard of Rough Edge and Need an Article. Thanks. Do you get any referral money if I go to them?

from time to time i check on mylot tasks available and i just happened to come across a writing task worth $4 for a 500 words or more. what made it more interesting for me was the topic of the article to be written. that was the only task i ever did and i was paid for that. lately there's not much writing task available or i just don't happen to come across another one whenever i'm available. for me, what will make a mylot task worth accepting is that it will have to pay better than the time spent posting. should it be a writing task, the topic has to be interesting enough to motivate me to write.

Those are two very good criteria for taking a task.

I have tried to do some of those $2.00 and $3.00 taks before but the button to type or send never works for me. I would not mind doing those too when I have the time. I am usually too busy doing surveys though, that pay more.

I never had any luck with surveys. I answer a few qualifying questions, then get tossed out, and never get anything for my time. I was confused when I first looked at tasks, because there is an accept button at the far right on bottom. I have to scroll to see it. You take accept, then go write your article in a word processing program and copy/paste it into the white box and hit submit.

That's so nice that you can finish the $2 and $3 Mylot tasks. I found they are quite difficult for me to complete. I can only finish the Mylot taks which are worth about a few cents or maximum $0.20:) I like to finish the tasks, as long as I can be able to complete them. Perhaps the earning is not much, but at least it can make me reach the minimum payout sooner. I love China

Those $2 and $3 can be hard for non English speakers. I have not seen others that I would be good at, but I understand from some of your discussions that you do well with images.

I will not do the ones that seem boring to me, either. I do like to make a dollar or two to help make sure I make payout every month, even when I get busy elsewhere.

I have done tasks that paid 5-10 cents for signing up or registering with a site. I am OK with these tasks. But writing 500 odd words for anything less than $5 is not OK.

Do you have a site where you earn $5 for 500 words? If so would you share it with me? I make about $2.50 for 500 words off of MyLot

I have never done any. I forget it is even there. I looked at them a couple times when it first started, and it was signing up to sites, and I just never paid attention to it anymore. I will have to check them out again.

There are some writing tasks for $1 up right now. I have some other writing in line at the moment, so I am skipping them. I started this discussion after seeing someone offer fifty cents for five hundred words. It was just not worth it to me, no matter how interesting. I will do a survey for a nickel, or dime or twenty cents. The contact I have pays me $2.50 for 500 words, so the fifty cents was a little unbelievable. I like the four paragraph assignments, as those are about sixteen good sentences. Not too bad for a dollar or more. I do those tasks to guarantee I make payout.

Maybe $2 or $3 is worth my attention, but I was not lucky to see any task that pays that much. All I was able to see was task for $0.10... I am not much active on mylot recently, maybe in the future I would pay more attention to tasks... HUGS

Some of them require quite a bit of research as well as being creative. It is not for everyone. Most of us are on MyLot for the people. The money is just a nice extra.

I went back to tasks and I can see it now....plenty of tasks for $3....it would take me forever to write, I am not creative...

Yup, I enjoyed those $2-$3 writing tasks, though there seem to be less of them nowadays. To think of it, I hardly see them these few weeks. Other tasks that I usually take up are the copy & paste - these usually takes 10-20 minutes, depending on the internet; and the keyword searches for website & email addresses.

I have only done one task and that was a task where I had to sign up at an online forum and write 5 posts. I love forums and writing, and so I decided to accept the task. It was a way to earn a bit extra, but I also did it, because I wanted to support the forum. I have had my own online forum in the past and I know how hard it is to find members for a new site. I don't look at the new tasks very often, because I prefer to participate in discussions instead, but there are some tasks that I would consider. If I am interested in joining a certain site, I might as well join through a task and become someone's referral. I wouldn't join a site to earn a few cents, I am only going to to join if I am actually interested in the site. I might also do a task to help a friend, even though the payment is just a few cents.

none of the mylot tasks are worth my attention, i dont like them at all, they are so confusing, and even if they offer $1-$3 as a reward, i still wouldnt partake in them, i think that i should hang around discussions and responses more because its just too hard to write and article about something even remotely related to what the person desires, if we are ever rejected it would be a big bummer, so why waste your time in doing a task which is so hard to search on about and then get rejected? that is exactly why i havent touched a mylot task for as long they have been there, there should be somthing easier for those people who dont want to surf the net or anything to find out what to type in little by little, which by the way you have to do in a limited amount of time, then get the pay, i prefer responses over mylot tasks anytime, and so do the other users, majority of the users also think that it is a waste of time to search the net, then get it done in a limited time, and then get a dollar, they would much rather respond to discussions slowly then use their time on tasks, oh wellm, iguess we can never tell the benefits of these discussions either, since none of us has ever tried it yet, and probably never will, we shall always have a negative response, thats the way it has to be, the people who have experienced the result of a task would think that its something very easy while the ones who have nevber completed a task becuase of the topic on which to complete on would think that its hard,

You have a nice long response here, I am sure you are not always marked negatively. Tasks are not for everyone, and they are not mandatory, so that is a good thing. I am a wordy person, who has good luck with research, so I do one or two now and then. Others find it is more profitable to post discussions and responses. I am here mostly because I just like the people.

yeah, the people, the magnificent people, we need to do more tasks for them, since they need our help, and are desperate enough to even give a dollar to find out any information on their subject, i think that is absolutely right, i never looked at it that way,

I love writing tasks with $3 payment, it is good payment and can increase my knowledge about the tags they give. Beside writing tasks, I do research task too. I find this worth for me if there is nothing to do with my time. I like craigslist tasks, i can completed and submit this task in 4 minutes if my connection is good, sometimes will take me about 10 minutes if my connection is slow. But i just can submit couples of tasks before its gone.

I do not do the writing tasks, I want to have fun and go in discussions. Maybe someday I'll start doing them, but I would probably get bored really fast, as I'm used to discussions and the tasks that make you sign up for things and get payed for it.

Actually I have made about $2 on tasks. Haven't done any lately. I prefer posting and answering posts. I know it takes more time. But that is fine with me.

Except for one that was asking for different words for a certain word paying .10 I have seen little other tasks that are not just people looking to get referals. I guess I need to check more often. I would definately write something that is a few paragraphs or 500 words for a 2 or 3 dollars. I have written for less on other sites, so why not. I guess I will need to check the tasks more often.

With all kind of tasks I can complete 10 cents very easy if my connection is not stop responding. For writing, I still need learn how to write in good English because I have many rejected from this type of task. I also ever see the tasks have worth $5 if you can write about mylot in wikipedia but it's only one slot. I'm here fully participation and if have right time do the tasks.

a task that pays more is always worth it. the higher the pay the better of course. and especially if the task is to your interest, it won't even feel like work!

I also like the $2,$3, and $4 dollar writing tasks. The pay is good and fair enough for the amount of work that should be done. I have done a lot of these writing tasks and have increased my earning here in mylot doing tasks. I only do these writing tasks because that about the only thing I know how to do. I find the other tasks either not worth my time or too complicated to do.
