have you ever visited a battlefield from any war?

I have visited American Civil War battlefields. Has anyone visited any battlefields from any war?

I visited gettysburgh battelfeild from the civil war and i also saw the reinactment. I was amazed.

I have been to Gettysburg many, many times and am more amazed every time I visit! It is such a fantastic historical site with so much to see.

I have been in Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion of that country. though i didnt visit any battlefield there. Mainly because no much battle actually took place actually. It was more like a one sided war.

I live in an area where there was a major civil war battle. Pilot Knob is now a state park and museum. Gunboats were sunk in the river below the Knob. Sometimes you can see them if the water is low enough. Fascinating stuff!!

I lived very close to Valley forge. I have gone there several times. Beautiful. I have heard of some paranormal activity happening mainly at night. Of course there would be. War is a horrible negative thing and surely it has left its sad mark there.

Not really on the topic, but I just watched the movie The New World. It was pretty slow, but was about Pocohontas and the settlement in Virginia. I watched how they made the movie and everything was pretty accurate to the old times. Check it out.

I have visited the Saratoga NY battlefield this summer. It was really interesting, as I live in the area and have never visited. There is alot of history in my area.
