Do you have a regular job?

If you have a regular job, are you looking for MyLot and other Internet business to supplement your income or replace the regular job?
If you don't have a regular job, how do you live? On benefits from the state or are you supported by a partner or parents?

A tuning shop? Is that musical or cars? It sounds as though you enjoy it!

It doesn't seem to happen very quickly at first but keep looking at the ideas that get posted here. Many are not worthwhile but some are good. Try to build up referrals - that is the way that most of these things work.

I have a PT job that I work while my son is at school. I am in school online FT. I am hoping to be working from the home completely within the year.

That sounds encouraging! It obviously seems to you that it is possible to make a reasonable amount online.

'Just' being a student is nothing to be ashamed of! Hopefully, when you qualify, you will see the reward for your studies. In the mean time, I believe that you are doing fairly well from MyLot and, perhaps, other online sites.

It's good to have many strings to your bow (or should that be 'harp'?) One can, perhaps, begin to make music!

I agree that things like online surveys and so on pay very little for the time involved. At least they pay something - perhaps enough to justify having an Internet connection in the first place!

I agree. I'm retired but if it helps to pay my Broadband connection, then that is good!

I have a regular part time job. I like the idea for earning for answering questions but I'd never be patient enough to make a lot from MyLot. I just like asking and answering questions and the money is a bonus.

Single word answers don't contribute much to a discussion and won't earn you many cents on MyLot! Please try to make useful and descriptive posts! Thank you for expending the effort to type three letters, however!

Yes, I have another job as well. If I depended on Mylot alone I think I would be in a world of trouble! My husband and I both work, but I do things such as Mylot for the little extra that it brings it. I also do other online things besides this and with all of them combined, it becomes a nice little side income at the end of the month ! How about you??

I agree one should have many irons in the fire. MyLot on its own is fun - the extra it brings in may help pay for my Internet connection.

Without the help of referrals, you can never expect to make more than pin money out of any site like this. Every little helps, though.

I have a regular job and it is a full-time employment. I just thought I'll try this site and see if I can earn some money, and if yes, then that's great. It is to supplement my salary if it can but I have my doubts. I'll see what happens here.

It seems that it needs 3 or 4 hours concentrated (but fairly pleasant) work on here a day to see anything worthwhile. As with anything, there are some fairly obvious things which one should do to make the best of it. Making the most efficient use of the time is one of them.

I am a SAHM but also have a direct sales business. I just signed up for mylot to see exactly what kind of money I can bring in. Like someone else said, if it can pay one bill... awesome! Mainly I'm supported by my husband who works full time though.

You have a very important job, then, and one which a lot of people don't recognise as such! I hope your husband is FULLY appreciative of the amount of work you do to make sure that your kids grow up to be people that not only you but many people can be proud of! MyLot on its own may just bring in a trickle but it is a great way of making friends and contacts. I think that is probably its real potential - and if one gets paid a little to do that, that is a bonus! +

I work a full-time job. Mylots is a hobby. I enjoy the computer and since joining mylots, have enjoyed posting and answering discussions...when I can find some that are interesting! LOL. No way could you make an income here...it is unrealistic to expect to do so. This is just for fun...and the money you can make here is just for fun also...a little extra to spend on anything insignificant.

Yes and no. I have a job, but I don't receive cash for it. I volunteer at my children’s school. I coordinate a volunteer reading program that helps struggling readers. It relies on parent volunteers and unfortunately the number of children struggling to read by far out numbers the parents. So I have taken as many children as I can. This keeps me in school just as long as the teachers with as many students. I love it though, each one of those kids are really cool. I work with children from the 2nd to 5th grade.
