How to measure my heart throb's love for me?

Dear Lotters,
I have heard several times my lover saying "I love you more than anything". Yah, she loves me very much and I liver her too, but how could say she loves me more than anything? Is there any limit or criteria for love. HAve you ever tried to measure your lover's love for you? Please share your views regarding the statement.

"I love you more than anything" - how would you know that it's true? Well, you don't. The truth will prevail only when you've been together for some time, when something happens that tests your true love for each other. We cannot measure love the same way we measure our IQ. In fact, I believe the only way to "measure" it is to see if whatever promises made have been fulfilled, and this could only be seen over time. Not now. Not immediately.
