I am feeling very sad.. I am abused on mylot response.. is it fair? Need ur help

Hi Friends, I am here on mylot from last 3-4 years.. Mostly I reply in computer discussions only.. if you view my profile, you can easily figure out that my rank is in comptuer discussion is 43.. which is really not bad.. Yesterday I respond to a discussion under Computer Section only.. Here it is :

and in the response I was commented as Jacka##! Alas.. Frankly speaking, I wasn't knowing what does it mean.. but when I googled with this world I found it's abusive word..
Just one request to you all friends, Please view the discussion once. and say was my reply wrong? It was so bad that I was abused? Comment there or here.. I am not starting disucssion just for earning. but I love to response in computer stuff..
Friends.. Please comments I am feeling very down like I shouldn't reply to computer problem stuff or leave mylot..

hey you really made me smile.. I am quite happy that someone telling me on net that I replied nicely.. I really like to solve computer problems.. in fact I come to know many new facts at OS level and hardware level too.. Thanks alot.. accepted your friend request.

I can't see the remark anymore which mean myLot has acted on it in your favor. Base on the responses of our good fellow myLotters in that post and in this discussion, I could just imagine the severity of what she have written. You certainly don't deserve it as I see absolutely nothing wrong with your response and even directed her to a site that may fix her problem. I'm pretty sure she now know the consequences of her actions and lets just hope that she don't do it again.
As for you my friend, I admire how you handle the situation, until you find the time let this go, continue to share and help those who are in need in this favorite discussion of ours - "Computers".

oh.. I just read that response. yeah sometimes it's just misinterpretation of the speech.. and also there is slightly differnece in Indian people thoughts and other people. if I am not wrong you are Indian too. Small things touch us easily.. by the way Thanks for your response.. and yeah you really have a nice display.. :-)

Being abused is indeed unfair. 
I have visited the link and saw what happened. The guy was a jerk making rude comments from the people who helped him. This is not really his place. Leaving mylot won't be the solution here lovedude. I know someone had already reported that guy for posting bad and harsh words to other mylot members. For what i have read, you were not the only one who was hurt but other members too. You could always respond to other discussions and forget about that jerk who told you those words. Happy mylotting

You could look at this so-called abuse in another way; a wake up call to do better! As you claim your rank to be 43, you could perhaps change the way you resp[ond to discussions and make your observations a little more precise (mind you, I haven't read your comment). Don't let one guy get the better of you, you're worth more than that. Keep mylotting.

From the thread i would say his frustration was aimed at the wrong person. Upon seeing his problem he's probably not really into tech stuffs and was just complaining without giving a proper detail on what exactly is the error and problem.
I don't know but you shouldn't been upset over his reply. I mean the fact you have been here for years and being helpful is probably known to most so why bothered by a jerk ?

Not all mylot users are friendly people. I think it is best to disregard those who use awful words and make us feel bad. Just know there are a lot of people out there mylotting who are actually nice. Like this mylotter

Hi lovedude...I don't think you should leave mylot just because of one silly person, however I think that it's terrible that someone is so low class that the only way they can communicate is by using bad words and by belittling the other person. Don't feel badly - feel sorry for that person that the only way they act is by hurting someone else.

hi friend i am sorry to hear that.but i don't think it is big problem it is small problem maybe it is the rule on mylot.they need to manage by system rule and they don't just do for you.so if you have any question you should write to admin of mylot and ask why.don't leave mylot just for such misugnderstanding i think,be good

You didn't even say anything hurtful to him! He wasn't being very appreciative of your advice and that's just not very kind of him.
I hope that he learns and deals with other situations in a better and non-hurtful way.

He also say rude words to other responder, he just acting like a bad a$$ person, but actually he is not quite a good commentator, or may be I can say that he is not quite popular member (I bet it's all caused by his attitude). I look on his profile, he started some discussions and got only few responses, and almost all responses he had doesn't replied back by him.

I read the discussion on where bluepacker abused you, the insult just seemed to come out of no-where, although in Australia (Where i live) the word he used isn't really an insult it is more along the lines of:- Dolt, Lounger, Numbskull and so on.
So don't be insulted by petty threats such as that as it won't do you much good.

I tell you the best way to deal with it - just report and move on. Our time and emotions are too precious to waste on some unseen abuser lurking behind a monitor thousands of miles away. Take it for granted, you'll never meet this person in real nor has he or she anything to do in your life - so what does it bother if a dog barks at you while you walk on the road. Should you call all the people and complain, or should you bark back. None. Just walk ahead, nobody can touch you - we can't change people's attitudes or actions, all we can do is not heed them and move on with your activities. The abuse will fade away by itself, give it a day or two. Good luck!

A very wise friend of mine once told me a great way to deal with this kind of situation.
First-Talk to someone about, which you did. Awesome.
Second-Forgive them...easier said then done I know.
Third-Let it go.
Of course, this is the same guy that says, the best way to forget about someone bad in your life is to write their name on your toilet paper...before you use it...

seem to write in mylot there must be ethical among members although in fact there are already rules in mylot. I mean that ethical is maintain a feeling among members, when both, make new discussion or give response
