I do. Investing in shares requires skills, self-control, and patience. Most people who burn their hands out of greed. If a person does not have required skills, opting for mutual funds or exchange traded funds that are managed by professionals, would be more sensible. Self control is about being satisfied with the returns. There are always comparatively better returns, and we tend to expect a stock to move to a specified level. It may not for a long time. Even if it reaches the required level, we tend to revise the target higher instead of being contented with the returns. Buying and selling shares at the correct time is the other aspect of it. Holding for long term does help a lot, provided the share is that of a blue chip company. Investment in shares is advisable as fixed interest fetching securities cannot keep pace with inflation, and some amount has to be periodically ploughed back. Skimming the investment in shares periodically will help sustain the home budget.

No. i will not take that RISK. My father invested in share market and it resulted
in a loss. in sharemarket , if we face a loss , we have a bad chance of losing the
principal itself.
