Do you think Nokia is still the best brand when it comes to cell phones? I have a Nokia Xpressmusic phone and I feel it is a great combination of reliability as well as performance.... However we are seeing the growth of sony ericsson, motorola and other handset manufacturers these days...does it mean people have got over the barrier that other mobiles are reliable too?

Yes i think it's the best phone out there. It's the most user-friendly phone ever. Nokia, i think is the most popular brand here in the philippines. Plus it has many compatible softwares available to make the nokia smartphone even more smart. I've been using nokia for year. Never owned any other brand. I won't exchange it for an iphone. Lol.

Well i think Nokia is strong company, so even recently many new manufactures of cell phone and also many manufactures from china which offer cheap price i think Nokia still will be exist. My family are not all using Nokia. But overally people in my society seem that most of them use Nokia. I think maybe cause Nokia has simple menu and also the opinion that said cellphone is Nokia. It happen cause Nokia has succes build its brand image.

I am using nokia mobile phone only. It because its reliable. and also for resale also Nokia is good. For other models there is less resale value. ALso the materials used in building Nokia mobile phone are very good compared to other mobile phone. So Nokia Rocks........

Nokia is the biggest brand in mobile phones and has great devices in its lineup. But companies like HTC, Apple, Sony, Motorola... also have quality devices. After the launch of iphone, demand for touchscreen mobile phones increased immensely and Nokia actually failed to capitalized as they did not had a good touch screen phone. Though lately they have launched a promising device - Express Music but considering it is especially for music lovers other type of user can't find anything useful in it. Phones like iphone 3G, HTC diamond 2, Samsung Omnia are by far best in the market though bit expensive.

Hi darisingstar. The advantage of Nokia is its being user friendly. Unlike other cellphones, Nokia is the easiest phone to learn all the features. I believe that there are other cellphones that could very well vie for for its ranking. One is motorola. Motorola for me is a lot more durable compared to Nokia. I had mine fallen a lot of times, and it is still working very well. It is sturdy compared to other phones that I know, including Nokia.

I used to use Nokia, and I have to say almost everyone around me is using Nokia, especially students. But I don't like to stick to one brand forever. I'd like to try something new, so I'm using Sumsung right now. And when you get used to it, and give up your preference with Nokia operating system, things are as good as before. I have to say, using a new brand mobile phone can open anther world to you and help you know something you've never know. And the quanlities of cell phones from famous brands are all reliable.
Afer all,it never hurts to try.

I have used Nokia before but I can say they are real slow and lacks any style. I have been a Sony Ericsson user and I am happy with it. I am not trying to divert someones decisions to buy a Nokia but we should think that when we talk about phones, there are other manufacturers out there. Nokia phones might be the most familiar but there are better choices out there.

Long time ago I used Nokia and I must say that Nokia cellphones have good quality. But I just don't understand why until today they still don't want to change another operating system. They still insist in their Symbian. I prefer to use Windows Mobile cellphones because I can find more software for it. Therefore, today I no longer use Nokia.
I love China

personally i don't like nokia phones at all. truth to be told, i've never own a nokia before. people around me have been using it though. sometimes i borrow their phone to send text messages and i find it so difficult to use. i've always been a motorola fan because it has got really hardy phones. my friends have been telling me that they can't drop their nokia phones. a friend had so much trouble with her new phone that she ended up buying yet another phone because her phone spent more time in the nokia service centre than with her.

I never liked Nokia.
For one, it's.... user-friendly. Haha! ironic isnt it? I don't like user-friendly phones since my friends and relatives would easily meddle with my messages and settings.
Second, it's the most common brand of all cellphones and it constantly upgrades their products, which creates sort of a discrimination among phone users. And worst, everyone knows what;s the latest gadget.
"Ha! your Nokia is much low tech than mine!!! I got the latest gadget and you.. you only have Nokia 3210! Such a pathetic you."
Then I would go, "So what?! All i wanted is to talk or text. Not some display for thieves and robbers to see"
Third, the world has put most of their money to Nokia for buying their cellphones. Sooner or later, Nokia will dominate the world! Hahaha *kidding*

Yes, I'm using nokia for the past 3 years & I think it's the best. I'm not saying other brands are not good. But afterall it's the matter of everybody's liking.

I am also using an Xpressmusic phone of Nokia. It's 5310 and I am pretty happy with my cell phone. Before I bought this mobile I had been using Sony Ericsson W810i. Both phones have their positives and negatives. But in the end, I prefer Nokia because it's more stylish!

I think Nokia is a good brand and I've definitely used and liked many of the previous nokia phones i've had (including the xpressmusic).. until it broke. I treat my phones kinda poorly and i'm not very careful with them when i'm out so I'm not really blaming nokia for it breaking.. i tend to always use my phones until they break..Now i use a samsung and quite honestly it's a pretty neat little device. My girlfriend uses sony ericsson and that is also a very nice phone I must say.. my next phone is definitely gonna be a blackberry though.. i was split between the blackberry and iphone for a while but I think i'm gonna go with the blackberry because it offers a lot more features and it is just as user friendly as nokia phones and samsung phones.. but yeah nokia does a great job if not the best out there!
