Yesterday I was talking about what we like for breakfast with Grammy and her sister. Grammy was saying grandfather used like to to have waffle + ice cream + syrup + a strawberry on top... I don't think so I like them, don't get me wrong but I just don't llike to have sweets for breakfast like that, waffle + syrup once in a while is acceptable, not ice cream though.
My favourite breakfast is definitely eggs, like scramble erggs, omelette etc. I am trying to think have I ever had sweetsfor breakfast like chocolate cake, ice cream cake, brownies etc... I don't think so.
What aobut you? Do you eat sweets for breakfast? If so, what are they then?

We never eat sweets at our breakfast here but some corns, eggs, bread, cake, milk, etc. People here believe that too many sweets are not good for your health, and they have only a little each day. When you are hungry you can have some sweets. But if you are not, you'd better not to do so.

Yeah, i eat sweets after every breakfast not before breakfast. because if I eat sweets before, I have no interest to eat a lot on what is being serve on the table. I like to eat sweets even not every meals. Sweets gives me energy even i get feel tired. It is like a adrenalin booster making me alert. Also, i used sweets to change my moods, if I feel sad i eat it also when i feel like celebrating.

I very rarely eat sweets for breakfast. The only reason I ever would might be because I'm on the run. I typically eat cereal for breakfast. If it's the weekend then I might treat myself to scrambled eggs and some turkey bacon. I love sweets - but just not so early in the morning like that.
I had an aunt who use to "treat" her kids to donuts on Saturday mornings for breakfast. When I was a kid I thought it was super cool! Funny thing is, now she's the most health conscious person EVER! lol and would never ever think of doing that today.

Hello Jenn. I don't eat cereals for breakfast because I find that they don't satisfy my hunger. LOL... I have a big appetite, so if I really want to be full, I'll have to eat half of the cereals in the cereal box. That would just be too expensive if I would consume a box of cereal every 2 days... Hahaha.. But it's good that you like cereals. Eating cereals every morning is a good habit because they are very nutritious.

It depends on my mood, but I usually am in the mood for sweets during breakfast. Pancakes with lots of syrup...now that sounds sooo good! LOL.. Sometimes I even eat a Twix for breakfast. I know it's not nutritious, but I just can't help it. I have a sweet tooth. But during lunch I make sure that I eat something nutritious to make up for my unhealthy breakfast.

I sure do.^_^ That's a very tasty breakfast your GrandPa likes. Its kind of a great breakfast because it gives you the enough energy to jump start your day but I do agree with you that having that kind of breakfast everyday is definitely not advisable. Once in a while, sure, but not everyday.
Me, I really dont have breakfast. Its either Im running late for school or some appointment or Im still awake for the usual breakfast time. So I just dont eat breakfast. My body is used to that kind of setup. I do eat lunch, dinner, and lots of snacks so I think I make my Lunch, my breakfast, and my snacks, my lunch. It might not be the appropriate time for other people but for my body clock, its just the right time.^_^

no I do not eat a lot of sugar in the morning. I seem to have a craving for sugar in the evening, which is probably a good thing, that allows me to have a good breakfast instead of a lot of sugar to start the day.
A lot of people eat prepared cereals in the morning which are highly processed and full of sugar, which are little more than candy anyway.

Hi mermaid...I don't eat sweets for breakfast. I would love to have waffles, pancakes and mounds of syrup but I found out that I just don't feel as good throughout the day if I have these sugary, carb heavy foods first thing in the morning. I just stick with my eggs and milk and I feel much better throughout the day.

I do not mind at all having sweets for breakfast. Though I rarely take sweets in the morning, I think it is just ok. As long as I have a full breakfast meal that is what is important for me. Like they all say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You eat like a queen during breakfast and eat like a pauper during dinner.

By eating those cookies, it actually is bad for you. Well when you eat something like that it has a significant amount of sugar, and carbs. And when you eat that in the morning it will make you slow and groogy the rest of the day because of the lack of sugar throughout the day. It is a little better than nothing but they are both bad...
If you want here are easy alternatives for breakfast:
Cereal, Toast and jam, Eggs, Oatmeal

Hi! I enjoy eggs also. I usually will have egg and cheese on whole wheat. I do enjoy the occasional french toast, or when I'm really bad...chocolate croissant. But, that is rare. I usually have eggs, fruit, yogurt or a bagel.

Yes, I do. Not all the time though, but wouldn't that be nice? Lol, I like to have a balanced breakfast most of the time. The other times I might eat sweets or junk food.

You're right. I do not like to eat breakfast sweets. Breakfast really should not be eating sweets and more easily lead to acid, heat storage is not easy to noon, and even collapse. Are not bad to eat some porridge, but the increase in the best pasta, preferably whole grain. Salty food will help to add strength. Other protein supplement is also important, eggs, yogurt(yogurt drink sooner or later, doctors said on gastrointestinal bad people can be very helpful). Eat an apple or orange of course, better health.

I tend to eat fruits or yougart for breakfast. I don't like a full course meal that early in the morning. I am not a "sweets" person but I do enjoy a Reese Cup once in a while. Sweets would make me sick if I ate them first thing in the morning

I don’t eat anything sweet these days but when I was working in an office a few years ago I used to grab a sweet bun and a cappuccino for breakfast on most days. Not the healthiest but it made me feel happy in an otherwise boring and unrewarding job! These days I have cereal and I feel much better.

When I don't like what Mom prepares for breakfast, I eat something else which I've stored in my room like potato chips, candies, coke etc. I prefer such a breakfast compared to a normal one! Happy mylotting!

I love breakfast.. but i find that I not always have time for it.. which kinda sucks because breakfast is the most important meal of the day. When i do have time to sit down for breakfast ( and i try to do this as much as i can ) i usually prefer non sweet food... I love omelettes.. eggs for sure. I also really like bacon.. ham. tomatoes would be great too. I never have sweet food for breakfast like brownies or so and the thought of it kinda drives me off.. I never really had a sweet tooth to start off with actually.. cereal's okay.. in moderation but eggs are just farr better (and in fact i only really like eggs in the morning)
