With this new age of technology, do you ever write letters anymore?

Well, this new technology is very useful, but we forget how to write a letter. I wrote birthday and Christmas cards. But even these I send them by email sometimes.

I do write letters for business correspondence. Sometime, we might have to keep hard copies of business correspondences in order to have document proof of the business trasaction. I even use writing letters to government officials/departments in order to get the things done.

I do yes, I think its nice to send letters to people occasionally, though not too often as I don't like wasting paper. I try to choose people who will really appreciate them

Nah, I write small notes when sending out a card or something, but not a letter. That is usually emailed or typed. It feels a little impersonal, but it takes too much time and my hand starts hurting. I like to talk so writing can turn into a story for me.

Dear Friend, I am an Indian. There are many people who use letters. In India, there are many villages without modern technology. They use letters for their communications. Only 10% of people use modern methods.50% of Indian people have not knowledge about modern technologies.Fax,E-mail are unknown words for them. 50% are illiterates.they can`t write any letters. But,I think about 2025,we can overcome the problem.

Yeah though only barely. I still write to my partner whenever I feel sweet. *LOL* But sometimes, I am required to do so at work. But hand written for my partner only.

Usually I'm not fun of writing letters even when I was in college because I live far from my parents hometown. I did write once when I send a letter to one of my friend who went to Australia and live there. As promised before leaving the Philippines my friend and I will send letters to each other. But I never receive a reply. It is hard to prepares letters and have time in doing it then no reply at all from that recipient. But now in the new technology that we have I really appreciate and enjoy it.

impossible to stop simple letters. in our business company - and about our country's rules - we must post bills, contracts, etc. in simple letters. I think it never expires.

Rarely! On birthdays of dear and near ones.Letters, may be old culture but, write a letter to dears in our own handwriting is a very special experince. There is much more emotional attachment and involvement and sometime that experince is simply great!

Yes I do write letters,I believe sending letter is better than writing email. I also like if someone write me letters. If you take time and write a letter to someone its show how much you care, its mean love.

I must admit, I have almost left writing letters. Instead of writing, I am used to doing more typing these days. In this age of Internet and telecommunication, E-mails have taken the place of traditional letters as ther are much faster, better and more reliable along with various other features that can't ever be compared with traditional letter writing. With Cell phones and Text / multimedia messaging coming into use, letter writing has further moved towards extinction. But yes, I do write letters to my girlfriend because she hates using internet or e-mails. So, I write about a letter a month to keep in touch. I also dont forget to send my loved ones greeting cards through post on special occassions!

Technology will go to his own path and I will go to my own path. If techonology discovers that a site looked golden color liquid is spraying as if we can bath. But when I go for bath I die for some reason. then tech will paly his blame game and ultimately will advise me that next time it will be ok an more comfort. Any discovery must adjust with nature I mean not adjust with money.
