Lately I been going through some things.
but I don't know if that's it.
the "things" kinda left my mind for a minute but I just had this stroooong feeling come over me and I just wanted to cry.
Maybe it's my body telling me it's time to let it all out..?
I don't know.
it's kind of weird.
I hate this feeling. and I am starting to feel so worn down.
anyone ever feel like this?
ever just want to cry for no reason??

Sometimes people feel sad for no reason. It's perfectly normal. I actually like it, letting all these sad feelings out. It feels like I'm starting fresh again when I cry after a long period of being down like having an empty cabinet where I used to store my sad thoughts. What I do afterward is eat some ice cream or chocolate, have a little mood booster. It's alright to be sad sometimes, we don't have to be happy all the time.

Well I just cried due to a sad post I responded too, anyway cry, its o.k there is nothing wrong with crying people seem to think crying is a bad thing, I cry all the time for 1 because I am so sensitive but when I cry I feel better, don't hold it in, let it go, go in your room or in the bathroom and let it out, only you know what is really bothering you, but trust in believe you will not lose any points if you just cried, sometimes during that time of the month I cry for no reason but other than that is it usually because my feeling are hurt, or I saw something sad, I have been crying forever wow that sounds sad, but hey crying is a part of life, I rather cry then do something I can't take back.

Sometimes it happens b/c I've been under too much stress for too long or sometimes it happens b/c my body has been through an emotional roller coaster. It really is a great release for your body.

I agree with the good advise my fellow mylotters been giving you .
And so true, there is nothing wrong with crying to relief a buildup of stress especially since you said you have been going through some things lately.
Most of the time I am very strong in the most stressful and sad situations, but oh boy when it's all over, those tears start rolling and I feel much better after that.
But like I said there are at times situations where deep depression can be a cause.
My Mom would cry every single day, not because because of depression, when we asked her why she was crying, she said she did not know. She just had to cry and always felt so sad.It was clinical depression.
So honey if this is not a daily thing or you know you are not depressed, then by all means cry it out and feel better.
hugs.

Hey Jennifer,
I see there is a Picture of a beautiful new baby. is this your Baby?
If you had a baby not too long ago,
it is very possible that you are experiencing
Postpartum depression, this can actually last several month.
Some Women get hit very hard with depression, others breeze right through it.
Try to switch your thoughts to positive as soon as the sad feeling
comes over you, focus on anything positive, anything that will make you smile.
Take a relaxing bath and listen to upbeat music.
Also if it is postpartum you are probably up all hours
of the night and lacking sleep which in turn can easily make you depressed.
If this becomes really bad, see your doctor.
Hugs to you sweety.

Hmmm, it's not good to feel like this. You should go out and do something that would bring you a lotta joy. This kind of feeling sounds like a phase in depression. Some people get depressed without even knowing it, you know?
Anyway, I've never felt like that, not to that extent, anyway. I usually only cry when I'm pissed off my rocker. Like, hell-razing angry at someone or something. I get the urge to just cry sometimes, too, at random, but I don't think I've experienced what you described.
Cheer up, yeah? S'not nice to be so down.

well, not really. i've come to a point where i know the reasons why i am sad or lonely at a certain moment. and i specifically know what triggered it. not knowing why one suddenly wants to cry is indicative of some form of self-denial i think. because the brain refuses to confront or to bring up consciously the cause for the sadness. the underlying cause may be traumatic or unbearable to think of. if at a later age you still don't know what causes you to cry, then that is a sign of a deep seated neurosis.

Sometimes all of lifes little stresses (or big stresses) just build up and build up, and even though you are not thinking of them at the time, you can get slammed with an overwhelming feeling of sadness and depression. this happens to me on occasion. Crying is a wonderful stress releiver, and sometimes i welcome a good cry to be honest. It allows me the time to think about all the things that aren't quite going as expected in my life, and often times after a good cry, i wind upp feeling better and refreshed, and able to think about things in a new light, and put together some sort of an action plan to improve things.
A lot of times with me though, it can also be hormonal. I don't always get emotional and weepy during certain times of my cycle, but on occasion i do.
