I do believe in God as consciousness and pure positive energy, which is where we are from. No I do not believe in hell. I believe it was made up to scare and control people out of fear.
I don't believe we die because we are eternal beings. Just our bodies end and our spirit goes back to pure positive energy.

I believe without any doubt that our souls are eternal. We are part of God (pure positive energy) that focus some of that energy into being a physical Being to live in joy. Joy here is the measure of success. While here we are always still connected to God. There are no punishments or judgements when we go back to the Nonphysical. The only judgements and punishments are here by man.
It is so great that we all can have our own beliefs and there are many. I believe it is okay whatever one believes as long as they are happy in their belief.

I know a lot people hell doesn't exist and some prefer that as a tale to scare off some kids for them to do good. i don't buy it, i know it's real, i won't risk doing all evil and realized in the end that i have been judged for an eternal punishment. I would simply confess it to the priest and prove myself everyday that i can move on not to repeat my sins again.

No, I'm not afraid of whatever may meet me upon my end. I've lived my life the best way I've known how, made the only choices I've ever been able to make...so there's no reason to fear. Horrible or not, I will face it with my eyes forward.
Besides, while I firmly believe in right and wrong...I've never believed in the concept of sin. It's always seemed a bit superfluous and irrelevent, really...when you already have a word for "bad".

I'm not afraid of any hell. I have faith in my karma. And my reason for not sinning has nothing to do with fear of punishment. I simply don't want to pollute the positive energy around me and I just wouldn't feel good doing things I believe to be bad or wrong. I don't believe in the stereotypical heaven/hell.

honestly said i'm really really afraid of hell, and i believe most of us here afraid of hell unsless he or she is an atheist. though i wonder, even though we are afraid of hell why we are still commit sins? maybe it's because of repent concept in most of the religion in the world, when u do mistake or sin, and u repent..then u won't be punished by God. it just my opinion :)

I'm not as afraid of hell as much I should be. I do believe it exists, fire and brimstone included.
I'm a believer in the Bible, which is why I believe it exists.

I do not believe there is a hell such as the Bible describes. I do believe there is an interim place where people who hate others and hate God can stay and try to heal, or a place with Satan that they can choose.
I believe this way because what loving parent would willingly send his child to a place of eternal punishment with no chance of redemption? Certainly nobody I know. God is our Father and treats us as his children, tries to teach us through experience and sometimes through miracles. He'll never give up on us unless we choose to go to and stay with his counterpart, Satan.
I try not to sin because it would displease my father, God, and cause him pain just as my children cause me pain when they sin and go through hard times because of it. Would I throw them in something like the Bible's Hell if they wouldn't listen to me? No. I would try to get them to see that they are hurting themselves, and me. Hell was invented by man, who wrote the Bible, to keep people fearful and under control.
If people would see God as a loving father there would be much less sin and more real worship of him.

Hi dragon, whats the name of that place where satans stay? Do u think that in that place where satans live is realated to them who r sinners? If hell is invented by men, then heaven too and sponteniously god too. Yes it may b created by the bible writer but according to hinduism, yama is considered as the ruller of hell and he is selected to do so by god. Eventualy he is also a god. In hinduism we have 33 types of god( some persons mistake it as 33 crores). God is also created to convince us about the demerits of sin and its influences toward our personal life. THANKS FOR RESPONSE.

I'm not afraid of it but as a child I was. I guess in a way it did at one point help me make certain choices. My family was very religious. I don't like the "you'll go to hell" kind of teachings. I think that there are a lot of religions that actually use hell a little to much as a crutch to get their followers to do as they want. I'm not much of the ill will towards men type so it really doesn't worry me.

Of course, nobody would like to be toast in hell, although it is now a soul.it says the fire in hell is so hot and it cause pain even to the soul. I believe in hell, heaven and in purgatory and in limbo. if you have extreme sin you go to hell and if you are a pious person you go to hell. When your sin could still be forgiven, you are given a chance to cleanse your souls by being in purgatory. And unborn babies goes to limbo, which mean they have not yrt fully develop as human and purely innocent from sin.

I don't believe in the concept of hell, so the fear factor isn't really there for me.There are a multitude of things that can and ()for the most part)do happen to people who commit certain acts that are considered as being bad to modern society that kinda scares me into not doing said things. IL think the prison system, and go happens to those are are incarcerated, is a lot worse than the visions conjured up of an internal flaming cave. There's some really sick stuff that goes down when you get locked up.

Good question, I don't think about it much, but I know I am a good person so I don't feel like I will suffer when I close my eyes for good, if there is not a hell there should be with all the devils we have running around this place, but then again maybe that is unfair who I am I to judge, guess I will just say yes I believe but don't think I will be there.
