I want to raise money for a candidate

I want to raise money for a local candidate that I'm rooting for. What do you think would be the best way to do this? Thanks!

americanjournalist Don't know how it is over there where you're at, but here they usually have dinners where people pay to come and hear a speaker (prolly the candidate, or the candidate's allies or even a celebrity of sorts).

americanjournalist I'm not as afraid of hell as much I should be. I do believe it exists, fire and brimstone included. I'm a believer in the Bible, which is why I believe it exists.
