There are tons of brand of shampoo out there. For me it's just hard to find that really works with my hair without breaking my budget. The last 5 years I've been using this Pantene, and it's just work so good for my hair.
Before that I use the Herbal Essence, and somehow they keep changing the formula, and suddenly the one that I usually use is being discontinued, took me a while before i feel comfortable with this Pantene. How about you. Do you always use the same brand? Or you always try something new?

I use a wide variety of shampoos. I typically stick with the same type of shampoo that I'm using as conditioner. I only really use certain brands but it depends on what coupons I have for those brands. Like right now i'm using Dove because I got them almost free using coupons. Sometimes I get pantene, garnier, or sunsilk dirt cheap with coupons and instead use those.

Well I will change my shampoos regularly, atleast once in 3 months. When ever I change to a new shampoo it works good on my hair. After getting used to it,my hair starts getting light and loses its shine.I never tried using conditioners, people say that they help in retaining our hair strength and all.But my hair gets even worse when I use them. Now,the best thing along with the routine shampoos is,I apply the egg white to my hair once in a week.It really makes my hair black and shiny.

Actually the yellow part of the egg gives out most of the smell.Applying egg white will not leave any smell on our hair.As we use some shampoo to wash it,the shampoos fragrance will cover the smell.
Once you have applied the egg white, leave it till it becomes hard on your head. Then wash it warm water and then apply your shampoo, remember that you should rinse to thoroughly. Then rub your hair gently with a dry towel. Then you can feel the difference.Your hair will become smooth n silky and also strong...

I don't always use the same brand. I end up switching not because I want to try something new or something but because every time I go shopping I never can find the shampoo that I want to use. Currently I'm using Pantene but I'd rather be using something else. Pantene has never been that kind to my hair but it does fine enough so I'm not sure what's going to happen when this one runs out.

I use different brands, and here's why...
I read a long time ago in some fashion magazine that your hair can "get used to" your shampoo and conditioner and it actually looses some of its effectiveness. I use different kinds to work on different things about my hair. If I've just colored my hair I use something really conditioning like Pantene. If it's summer and I'm in the pool a lot I use something milder so my hair doesn't get dry. Sometimes I just buy one kind for the way it smells.
If I stumble upon a brand that really does well then I may buy a few bottles of it before moving on to something different, but usually I'm using different kinds.

I always use the same brand of shampoo, like Sunsilk, my hair is more shiny if i use this Sunsilk and they also protect my hair in damage and split ends, to look more perfect and condition hair.

To be honest I buy what is ever on offer, because there are so many brands of shampoo on the market and so many shops selling shampoo, if you shop around you can always find a bargain or if it's been sold cheaper or if there's a good offer on, so to me it doesn't matter, shampoo is shampoo, although I draw the line at the really basic stuff. I tend to like Alberto Balsam and fruity shampoos, you know the ones that smell like fruits, lemon, strawberry, apple etc....

i keep on changing but i always choose the shampoos which are for dull hair. At present i am usng Ultra Doux Wheatgerm shampoo. I have also experimented with conditioners, and the best i feel for my hair is sunsilk condition, so i am using that these days.

Actually I have to switch off every now and then b/c at times I'll develop an allergy to it. I used White Rain for the longest time and then I started breaking out and itching like mad from it...changed to Sauve and it quit. I've always had allergies though so I'm kind of used to it.

The doctor say not so good to always use the same the brand of shampoo, you should change several months, I am not mean always use new brand. Just change like before I use headshoulder, but now I use the Pantene, maybe in the future I will change back. This will balance the nutrition of hair.
happy mylot!

It actually doesn't really matter what shampoo you use, it's the conditioner that makes or breaks your hair. I recommend buying the shampoo of your choice from the grocery store, but to head over to your local hair salon to buy a good quality conditioner. Personally I prefer Aussie and Paul Mitchell hair care products.

I have to these days because of allergies. I use a cheap shampoo (Suave) but I use Treseme conditioners. I used to use Suave conditioner too, but tried Treseme while visiting someone and thought I'd try it at home... and then I realized I was getting a far better product for my money by doing so; because it was taking MUCH less Treseme conditioner to get my hair into the same shape while I was having to use a LOT of Suave.
I prefer Willow Lake Honey Wheat shampoo and Carrot conditioner. They used to be commonly found where I live and slightly expensive, but now that's changed and it's quite expensive, worse so because it has to be ordered and shipped :(
So Suave Ocean Breeze shampoo and a variety of gelatin based Treseme conditioners is the only way I go now :)

I actually really like to change up what I use, because I tend to get sick of the smell after I've used it, but I normally try it again later and I like it again LOL! I also go from brand to brand, sometimes it is Pantene, sometimes Aussie, sometimes Herbil Essences, etc. I like a variety, I never keep the same stuff, I always choose a different brand and scent :P

I'm the person who ends up using all the little leftover shampoo in the bottom of the bottle. For some reason my boyfriend has this aversion to using up an entire bottle before buying a new one so every so often I have like three bottles of shampoo with none of them having enough left to wash my long hair, so I make, like, a gray mixture that smells like minty-flowery-tea tree oil and just go to town!
Thank goodness for conditioner that smells nice. ;)
