Why do you guys care so much about making like $5 on myLot?

I just read a post that got like 600 replies because some girl said she'd gotten $8 in 3 days on this thing and I was like "so what?". Now, if she made that in one day, I'd be impressed but no one on here seems to be making any real money so I ask .. why do you care?

I know what you are talking but its not really that $8 is big money but the fact that not too many people get it in 3 days here that's why all the hue.

It seems alot of the people here on mylot are superficial and are only here for the money. They forget the fun and that you can actually make real friends. Iam here for the discussions mostly, the money is a bonus for me. I average just over $1 a day and i am happy with thta because I look at it as every little helps no matter where it comes from.

It doesnt bothers me if someone makes 8$ in 3 days what will excite me if i made $8 in 3 days hehehe.. let them be happy .. i guess they get so excited thats why share such news with all members.

I find it interesting when other people do it, but I don't really care to do it myself.
Maybe it depends on what you make at your real job. If you live in an area where people make a very small amount per day, maybe that $8 is a lot?
