With my family on a beach in the west of Ireland in 1975 with the sun beating down, playing in the sand, getting suncream rubbed on my neck, annoying my mother as she tried to sunbathe in her red bikini and Abba songs on a transistor radio.

That sounds like a nice memory. Ireland is so beautiful. I have not been there, but I have seen it on TV. I hope to visit some day. Take care.

My favorite memory, would have to be back about 35 year's ago when a young boy asked a girl to marry him. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. My son was 7 year's old and his little girl friend was 5 year's old and he asked her to marry him. That was the cutest and most adorable thing I have ever seen. But it didn't end there. He had to have a wedding. The cake and everything. So he had his money and he payed for a cute little locket for her, and they did get married in front of a real catholic priest. He said it had to be perfect. Well, it was the cutest thing because he spent the week's there with Pat and Jesse while I was working and him and sis would play together all week long. Well after the wedding he had to go home with us, come Monday morning we brought him in, and Sis went and fixed him a big bowl of cereal, and fixed him his spot at the table and she say's "so how was your work day." It was the sweetest thing I have ever seen. The good thing is they finally are married now after all of these year's. They come back tomorrow from there Honeymoon. So love can last for year's.

There are so many different memories that I would call my favorite like the week is July that I spend as a camp counselor, or my best friend's wedding a few years ago. We had so much fun at her wedding and itwas great to have our whole group of friends together in one place.

Hi Syankee, That is nice, this means you must have a great marriage and wonderful family. I am very happy for you. I don't have grandchildren yet. My daughter is also 24 (will be this year), my son is 22 years old. But, I think that would be a great experience being a grandparent.

Oh, wow, there are so many it's hard to think of just one. There are some memories that I would consider because I was happiest at the time; there are some I would consider because I am glad they happened; and there are others that I love because I laugh looking back on them.

Yes, I can remember my most favorite memory. Christmas in Paris with my significant other was the most memorable vacation that I have ever had. We spent ten days traveling around paris by boat, taxis, sightseeing bus,and walking. The Christmas lights all over the place made it very romantic and memorable. We enjoyed going out to eat and realized that french fries were part of every meal, even our Christmas meal at an upscale resturant. It was a great trip.

Oh I would like to do that! That seems like it would be wonderful! I could just imagine all the Christmas lights, music and happy people. And I love French fries.

I believe that one of my most favorite memories was the first time that I had ever seen a palm tree. I hadn't traveled much at the time, only through a few of the United States. It was my first time to fly on an airplane as well. I remember I was so exhausted. I had a bit of a sinus headache, so I took a Tylenol Sinus. I rode a bus about 120 miles to the airport. Then flew from Chicago to Atlanta, almost missed my flight because of our delay in being able to land in Atlanta. Then switched planes to Orlando, FL. Finally relieved that I had made it, totally exhausted, I decided to take a break sitting outside of the airport. The benches were all full, so I opted to sit down on the sidewalk next to my 3 bags of luggage. Once I finally raised my head to look up, there it was...my first palm tree. It put a huge smile on my face!

Isn't it great how something like a palm tree can make a person smile? The simple things in life can still be so precious. That was nice.

It's hard to just pick one. Got so many of them and they have different meaning. But if I can pick one, is the New Year Eve 1987. That the last time of my big-big family reunion. We really had a good time, three of my uncles for the first time brought their girlfriend and introduced them to the big family. After that there were some arguments through the years, some of us don't want to talk to each other. And I would love to see this reunion again in the future!

I hope you will have a reunion again in the future. That sounds like a great thing. Especially when you have a big family. I would have liked to have been in a big family, it seems like fun. Okay sometimes people argue, but things can be worked out?

I have a lot of happy and sad memories. The first happy memory that comes to mind is my the summer after I graduated from middle school. We all thought we were going to be apart because we were going to different high schools (It was also partly influenced by the graduation song). We spend the whole 2 months together at the beach. We would get wet and then all go shower at a friend's house and then go to the Laundry Mat together. Good times ^.^

Yes, I understand. They are both special of course. It is a great experience to be able to hold and see your baby(s) for the first time. This is also one of my favourite memories.

That sounds so nice. It is great to have so many memories to treasure. Yes, I think that would be an experience to see snow for the first time. In Africa, if I am not mistaken it was last year. It snowed for the first time, just a little. It was on TV. These people were so excited. It was really nice to see there reactions.
