Has anyone had cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to treat anxiety and depression and did it work?
I have had CBT back on 2006, but don't think it's worked for me. But how would I tell?

Cognitive therapy can be very effective, though it needs to be continued, maybe you needed to go more. Perhaps you could also explore other forms of therapy such as gestalt, there is also the possibility if it did not work you may need to take medication in conjunction with cognitive therapy.

Well, I am on antidepressants which I was on at the time of having the course of CBT. The course of CBT I had was prescribed by the British tax funded National Health service and was 16 sessions.
