Yesterday was a very sad day.. I came home and found my cat acting strangely lying down on the lawn. I knew something really bad was happening so I ran inside to tell my parents something was up. Turns out moments befe I arrived he had been hit and was slowing dying on the lawn. Its one thing for a pet to die, but to witness it suffer and slowly slip away infront of your eyes is one of the hardest things to see. I got that cat in 6th grade and im 19 now, Ive had it for quite a while and it had the personality of a human so it was not just a cat to me but one with unbelievably character. My dad had to go bury it while I stayed in side. And I admired him before, but Ive really though out a whole new appreciate for him. He was the one who had the guts to bury our dad who was a member of the family as we ha him for liek 12-13 years. Moms deal with all the gross stuff I know, poop, puke, sickness, the works. But then theres the dad who usually deals with all the scary stuff, such as dead animals, or other things we dont have the heart to handle. No matter how sad it makes him he has to, cause someone has to do it right? So take the time to appreciate what the men do. Sure sometimes we think they dont have it as hard as us (who wants to hear a man complain when they just spent 30 hours pushing a baby out, so on so forth) but they steo up when we dont have the heart to.. Appreciate your man today!

First off, I apologize for the loss of your pet and long time friend YoungInLove. I hope you are better now. About the topic. Not a bad discussion, not bad at all. It would have been nice if this discussion's message had reached more people, or if it was even said more in society in general. In terms of appreciation itself, I believe I should add that people (not just men or women only) could do a little more in life that would possibly garner appreciation from peers, friends, family, even strangers. Nothing mundane or grandiose just a few kind acts even words could work. Interestingly, taking time to appreciate others fits into what I'm talking about and normally it spreads from person to person. You appreciate a person, they are slightly more motivated to continue on their course and perhaps even look and appreciate others near them that may deserve it.

My dad has done many things that has made me really appreciate him. Recently I tried to get a car loan and couldn't so he put the loan in his name so that I could get the car. He cant stand to see me cry and wanted to help me out. I love my dad.
