Oddly enough I just responded to one of your discussions a few minutes ago. Online classes. The answer to your question is yes. Presently I work as a chef, I'm also going to school(gearing up to start my master's program), I write for extra $$ (I consider that a business), after all it is payment for services rendered. Another odd factoid...I completed my phlebotomy certification many years ago. Well, not that many! I thought it would be an ideal transition into medical school. But as usual life happened. I went into restaurant management and never looked back...until lately. That's why I decided to go back to school, finish my degree, and do something that I think will make a difference. Don't get me wrong. I love being a chef. I love teaching people how to cook. But I can do that anywhere, anytime. I'm following a degree in Green Management & Sustainability because it opens a lot of doors for the future, and I have a passion for it. The master's degree will allow me to run my own projects. So, chemical engineering? Very ambitious. I wish I would have had you as a lab partner in one of my chem classes. I wish you all the luck in the world.

I am a freelance writer. Most of my work is writing web copy and articles for several article sites. I run a half dozen websites and keep plugging away at developing them. I am in the process of developing the characters from one of them into a short children' s novel and finding an agent for that.
I succeeded at my dream of writing for a living, now I have modified that dream to include living off the movie rights of one of my fiction creations.
The biggest problem I have is in staying physically in shape after spending an average of 12 hours a day sitting in front of my computer.

I am currently on maternity leave with my 8 month old daughter but my usual career is in the motor trade. Im not really sure if i want to further it and progress, im pretty happy with my mid level position at my company and i have done all of the required training. I get a pretty good wage as it is, and if i were to go any higher i wouldnt get much more money.
My ideal goal for the future would be to open my own garage with my partner, i would deal with the front of house stuff and he would run the workshop and we are both very skilled in those areas. I doubt its going to happen though as we just dont have that kind of money

I work in childcare and have done so for the last eight years. I am currently in the process of completing the diploma for childcare. Which will enable me to be qualified and if I so choose I can be a teamleader. Which means running a room and having staff working under me. At this stage ,completing my study is my main concern, after that we will see what the future holds.
