in many countries the light problems are a bit severe. For hours and hours the electricity is absent or dead. So, how's your countries' status in this matter.
If there is such problems then how many hours do the electricity remains in one day i.e. 24 hours.
Here, in my area the position is very bad...today we got about 5 hrs electricity out of 24 hrs. So sad for me i was away from mylot for so much time.

yaaa....i belong to the same country as yours...and we all know how India is suffering from water and electricity problem. Ist due to lack of proper rainfall and we ourselves are responsible to much extent for it, we use it without any care to use it properly, less wastage of powers and planting more trees etc....all these steps can avoid problems and save the resources also....but we ourselves become careless. There is need to awaken people

well, i think even for that government is responsible as here near my place 90% houses have no power meters and they are kind of stealing electricity but knowing this the government employees take bribe and do not report this to high officials. so people do not pay bills. And the people who pay bills are hardly able to pay bcoz of the high costs and umemployment in small cities like ours.

Sound like you are from my country, infact in my country electricity situation is even worst then yours. Last month we used to miss electricity for around 10-12 hrs. And sometimes even more. But now from some days it is doing well.. we don't see any short fall. let see what happen in future..

We just cannot say when the lights will be powered down in our city. The monsoon is not very good this year and so the lights tend to be down for several hours throughout the day. Moreover, there is no particular time of the day when the lights go. They can go at any time. If they go at odd times, say, at night, we get them back within a half an hour or so. But if they go during the day time the lights won't come before 2 hours minimum.

here in the Philippines electricity problems is really bad. every week their are scheduled black outs and the major problem is in the squatters area. there are lots of residential houses that are being tapped and when the bill arrives you'll be surprised that your electricity bill amounted to nearly a thousands.

It is not so bad here in my place. It is 4-5 hours daily load shedding. That means we have 19-20 hours a day.

I am very fortunate here in the UK where I live. We only get the occasional isolated power-cut. I guess I could say the only problem is that if it does happen and I am on the PC, because it is a desktop, it suddenly just switches off because there is no batter. I hope that your electricity stays on for longer in the future for you, and that things improve. - Derek

Ah, this is the perfect question for me to answer!
If you ask me about my home town then the electricity condition is very bad. You can be guaranteeed that you will get a 4-5 hours of no electricity in a day. From 6 in the evening to 10 in the night, we don't get electricity. Isn't it pity but we say that atleast we know that when we will not get the electricty!
If you ask me about my current town where I am doing my job, then I would say that the condition is much much better. We have 24X7 electricity. it is very rare that we get a electricity break here *happy*

There really aren't any problems in my area unless a severe storm temporarily causes a problem.
