Do you think abortion is right or wrong?

Abortion is quite wrong. The young one should not be expected to pay a price for its parent(s) insensitive, arrogant and irresponsiblity in conceiving a life they had no concern for..nuff sed!

Hello, life is something that is god gave us, I can't understand why people love to kill someone that hasn't see the sun yet. If you think you can't effort for a new child then dont make it happen, use protection if you can. well, it is too sad everytime I heard abortion... It is totally wrong... can you imagine if someone use a material or plastic thing to drain your baby out? how do you feel about that? if the baby can scream... they will scream the hell out of you... and you can feel it too.

I am very against abortion the only way I feel that abortion should be right if it is threatening the mothers life and there is no other way or means for keeping both mother and baby to survive. I really don't care what any one else would say, but it is destroying a human life. I believe yes everyone has the right to do what they want and even to their body. But when it comes to a living thing such as a baby, there has to boundaries. I think this would be too much, but if a mother has the right to kill her baby then that is murder and she should spend some time in jail for that just like any murderer would spend time in jail and that's just my opinion.

ALL the mind thinks when a situation of panic comes is abortion after a girl becomes pregnant and the situation worsens if the girl is unmarried and the guy responsible for the pregnancy leaves the girl.In these situations abortion can be stated wrong.But the life of a coming baby is very precious indeed,killing it before coming to the world is a very drastic thing to do.

no matter what the reason or the law and blah blah blah, i always agree that abortion is a killing, no need to be genius to know that. I really agree with you, and in my own opinion no law or regulation should be made to legalize this crime act or to make any circumstances when the abortion is right or wrong i mean, come on you have to bear every responsibilities of your own act

I think abortion is wrong. people will always disagree, and I really dont care. I am allowed to feel the way that I want, just like their allowed to think murdering a child is right. it's not. it never will be right. not for any reason. If I was pregnant and they tell me my child would have down syndrome, should I get an abortion? No. just because my baby would have down syndrome doesn't mean their life is any less valuable. they have just as much right to live as anyone else. if I was raped and got pregnant, I still wouldn't have an abortion. why? there are LOTS of people out here looking for a child, that can't have their own. if I couldn't handle seeing the child, then adoption would be my choice. a child doesn't deserve to pay for something that wasn't their fault. and as I said, their life is just as valuable as anyone elses. I believe that abortion is murder. no matter what the reasoning is behind it, it's still murder. Thanks :)

I am pro-life and think abortion is wrong. I believe that life begins at conception and the first 12 weeks of a fetus's development is rapid. I think that the fetus must feel much pain if he or she is aborted. I was unwell at 36 weeks pregnancy so my midwife sent me to the hospital for testing. A scan showed my baby has spina bifida and hydrocephalus. The next day I went to the fetal medicine unit and they confirmed the diagnosis. They offered me an abortion and I said no way. My son is now 2 years old and he has such a lovely bright smile. Many ladies would abort a spina bifida baby but for me it was not an option. My son is so wonderful and shows that life is valuable. The difficult thing is that a consultant doesn't have an idea of how disabled a baby would be. If a lady aborts such a baby she must always wonder what he or she would have been like. As for my son that needs catheter care and has needed to have two operations he is so lovely. He will not be miserable for the rest of his life but the consultant tried to fool me into thinking he might be.

I have never been in the situation. So I don’t know the feeling. Personally I think it’s not wrong at least. We should respect the mother’s right to choose it or not. Because I think the baby who is not born is not considered to be a life. We just can use our moral or law to judge real life in the world. So I prefer to listen to the voice of real life. I think it’s cruel to many mothers who have to take abortion in their life. In this case I don’t want to say they are wrong to them.

I think abortion being done purposely is a sin, If you had the idea to abort you should have avoided conceiving at all. If due to any medical reasons the doctors advice you to undergo an abortion then there is no other way. But now a days people find out the gender of the child during pregnancy and go for an abortion, this is absolutely a sin and wrong.They could have avoided their pregnancy then.

Well I must think that abortion is wrong because it is a sin. God doesn't like the idea of killing something that has never been born before. I completely agree with you also. "A life is a life no matter if is not developed all the way yet." It's so bad, just avoid getting pregrant as a teenager and you dont need an abortion. Young girls get banged up so early, it disgusts me on how their sad story is. If you want to get banged, you are going to accept having the baby.

I think abortion is wrong BUT like others have said there are certain circumstances where I think abortion would be best. Life is very valuable, but this maybe touchy, but let's say some poor lady gets attacked by a man, and then got pregnant. The mother would be put on such a spot then. But other then certain circumstances I do think abortion is wrong, there is a human being growing in the womb. Even if a women would not be able to care for the baby herself, there are other ways then abortion, such as adoption and what not.

I dont think abortion is all wrong.When she dont want a baby or she is unable to feed a baby ,it is better to hava a abortion.That is good both for the woman an the baby.After all ,everyone want a good family and a good life.This is my opinion.

I have mixed feelings when it comes to that subject. I think some women should have the right to an abortion. I think the rape victims or sexually abused, should have the right to decide to have an abortion. I think if the child will have a disability or missing limbs and such, the mother should be able to choose also. I do not think anyone should bring a child into the world if they cannot take care of it so I think they should have a choice but also be more protective the next time.

Aborting a baby depends entirely on the circumstances and the valid reason that go with it. There was a case in my family where the person was advised to go for an abortion but the lady and her mother was against it and are facing the consequences. They were asked to abort the two month old fetus but the mother and the pregnant woman felt it was sin and went full term and gave birth to a mentally challenged girl. Although they did not know about it at the time of birth now they are suffering with the girl. In such circumstances abortion is not wrong. Happy mylotting.

I do not think that abortion is wrong... if the circumstances warrant it. Sometimes, an unplanned baby can ruin the lives of the parents. If this is the case, I feel that the couple should be able to decide for themselves if the baby should be allowed to grow into a human or if they should decide to get rid of it. Ultimately, in my opinion, the decision should rest in the hands of the woman whose baby is in question. People should not be forcing her to conform or not to conform to social trends.

although abortion has many reasons, i believe that it is wrong. as said on the first post, it is a living thing like you and me.. say for example, just because Africa is less developed than some other countries doe sit give us a reason to kill the people? No, its simply because they were molded into the circumstances, they were put into situations which most people didnt cause. same for the baby, u cannot kill it for something it didnt do, it was simply placed into that situation. so in all.. abortion is bad to my eyes.

I think that abortion is something that can be right in certain circumstances. I also believe that it should be the woman's choice whether or not they want to go through with a pregnancy. There are too many children waiting to be adopted and you also have to think about the life of the mother.
