AlyssaG I love One Piece, and would have to say that my favorite character is a tie between Zorro and Sanji. Though I really like Luffy too. The whole crew is so lovable.

Does anyone know any good fonts to use with gimp?

I use the latest version of gimp to design graphics, etc, and I was just wondering if anyone knew any good fonts that would shrink to very small sizes while still being clear and without losing too much sharpness or resolution.

AlyssaG Thanks for your response, but I was looking for the names of fonts which were not default. I need to find fonts that can be small enough to fit in a very small area (ex 50x50 pixels) and still be easily read. There isn't much room for design when you begin...

I've noticed that a lot of people I meet don't understand exactly what email is or don't even have an email address. I'm always surprised when people assume they have to use the email that comes with their internet provider...

AlyssaG I like gmail because of the simple layout and the less obnoxious ads. Its pretty pleasant to look at plus it works well with cell phones. I cannot get my aol account to send emails from my cell phone, and I think yahoo has some of the most annoying ad systems...

AlyssaG I think it is perfectly fine to go spend time for yourself. I guess there is a reasonable amount of time you should spend, but sometimes you just need a break from being around people. I don't think there is a selfish thing about it.

AlyssaG Sometimes I have trouble spelling simple words especially when I haven't used them in a while. I guess its similar to forgetting words when you want to use them. I usually just come up with the closest thing and spell check it.

AlyssaG When I can't go to sleep I usually go on my computer and start reading emails or some manga until I get tired. Drinking something warm also works for me.

AlyssaG I've read all of the Abhorsen trilogy, and I'd say Sabriel is my favorite. Garth Nix's The Keys to the Kingdom series are also a fun read though aimed at a slightly younger group. I heard that there was going to be a companion book coming out sometime in 2010...

AlyssaG I use a laptop, which I love. Its an Acer Extensa and I've had it for two years. It works pretty much just like it did when I got it.
