Does anyone know any good fonts to use with gimp?

I use the latest version of gimp to design graphics, etc, and I was just wondering if anyone knew any good fonts that would shrink to very small sizes while still being clear and without losing too much sharpness or resolution.

AlyssaG Thanks for your response, but I was looking for the names of fonts which were not default. I need to find fonts that can be small enough to fit in a very small area (ex 50x50 pixels) and still be easily read. There isn't much room for design when you begin...

Do you find that you meet a lot of people who don't understand email?

I've noticed that a lot of people I meet don't understand exactly what email is or don't even have an email address. I'm always surprised when people assume they have to use the email that comes with their internet provider...

AlyssaG Thanks for the response, my parents are similar in that they have an email address, but don't really understand the whole ins and outs of the system.

AlyssaG I've read all of the Abhorsen trilogy, and I'd say Sabriel is my favorite. Garth Nix's The Keys to the Kingdom series are also a fun read though aimed at a slightly younger group. I heard that there was going to be a companion book coming out sometime in 2010...
