Do you find that you meet a lot of people who don't understand email?

I've noticed that a lot of people I meet don't understand exactly what email is or don't even have an email address. I'm always surprised when people assume they have to use the email that comes with their internet provider because they think they have to pay for email, and I'm even more surprised when people complain about spam, but haven't thought to make one email account for spam and one for personal use. I'd love to hear what people think about this. I've always wanted to start running a class or something to help teach people about how easy using email really is.

My aunt doesn't know how to use e-mail. I got her started up on a g-mail account but she's still not so sure how it works. A class to learn how to use e-mail would be great since a lot of people really don't know and an e-mail account could be really useful

Well i feel most of them knows the email and find it easy too. For example, my mom she is 50s but she knew to send me email and receive them, read them and reply when am at abroad.
