Selection of font to use should match your whole graphic design. Say you have an elegant piece of jewelry artwork, an Arial or Impact font would be inappropriate. For really small fonts shy away from using Serif, script and too much decorated type fonts. San Serif like Arial, Small Fonts, Tahoma or Verdana look excellent in fine prints but then again it must match.

Thanks for your response, but I was looking for the names of fonts which were not default. I need to find fonts that can be small enough to fit in a very small area (ex 50x50 pixels) and still be easily read. There isn't much room for design when you begin getting that small.
