is it wrong to want time out for your self, you know just to go do something you want to do? like my thing is go out on the horse and be able to lose my self with it and relax. even thou others seem to think your being selfish, and not showing them any attention.
what's your thoughts on it.

I have four kids, two dogs and my own business, if I didn't take time out for myself I would of been in the mad house long time ago!!
I try to find time to pray and read my Bible, also I love to cook and getting in the kitchen with no kids to distract me is great.
The past few weeks the kids have been on holiday so I haven't had much time to myself but from September 1st they go back to school and I already have a list of things I want to do!!!

I think that we all need a little time to ourself every now and again. There is nothing wrong with it and it's not selfish. It refreshes us. Anyone that is telling you that you are selfish for wanting a little time to yourself is being the selfish one. No..you are not wrong in feeling that way at all.

I don't think it's wrong for you to have a space of your own. Being together doesn't mean stick together all the time and have no time for yourself. There's things that you want to do just by yourself or with your friends without your partner or family tagging along. It's not wrong and you have the right for that. It's not even selfish.

My wife had a heart attack about 5 year's ago, and the doctor told her then, that when thing's got to be to much around the house just go for a walk or a drive to relax. So even now, when I see she is stressed I tell her to go outside and relax in the yard or to go to my mom's for tea. We all need some peace and quiet and time to relax. There is nothing wrong with it.

Who in the right mind will say that it's wrong??
Peronally, I think it's all about finding the balance. we can't be a loner and yet, face it, spending every single minutes around a bunch of people can be stressful at one point. So I think having a time out for yourself one in a while, or even once in each day, is a good thing.
