haha =D Maybe u can too used to having your hubby by your side, and that he gives u a sense of security, protecting u from danger.. haha =D Or perphaps, u are still young after all, and so all the more, u crave for his protection.. hehe ^_^
I'm never afraid of sleeping alone, because it's something normal to me.. lol =D PLus, i can be a sound sleeper as well as being a light sleeper, and it all depends.. hehe ^_^ What i hate most is that, upon waking up, i'm not able to fall back to sleep immediately as it's like spoiling my whole sleep, and will affect me the next day.. lol =D

when i was younger i could really tell that i am a scaredy cat!!! there was even that time that when i cannot go back to sleep i bring our pekinese dog with me and we slept. that is so comforting, really. and i am so happy about it. but as i grow older, i rtied my best to overcome my fear of being alone. so when i am on my higher elementary years and high school days, i begin to feel comfortable of being alone. that is my decision and it surely work. hope you can also overcome it my friend.

Hi there!
I'm not afraid to sleep alone. In fact I have been sleeping alone again, with only my pets cause I am living alone hehe.
I have gotten used to sleeping alone in the house I guess. I'm a loner so I'm used to being alone most of the times.
If you're scared to sleep alone, try opening the TV or listening to the radio. It will help you go back to sleep. Sometimes being alone and when it's quiet people feel scared because of the quietness. But when you here something like a music or TV it feels that we have company.
Ciao!

No, not really. As long as I do not watch anything too scary, I have no qualms about sleeping alone. Sometimes I even wish I am alone, especially when my roommate starts snoring or refuses to turn off the light!

hello acie!
before, i am like you. afraid to sleep alone! hehehe...
i remember when we were just new in our new house where my husband was assigned...there are really some situations that i need to be left alone in the house very early...like some times he has an early appointment and he needs to leave the house by 3 am...that's so bad for me, coz that time i am not yet used to it...really after he leaves, i can't sleep! huh! i'm scared and i feel like there's someone in the house aside from me or outside...i hear many weird things...hehehe but i guess those are just all in my mind...hehehe but as time goes by, i learn to live with it...there's also one place where we live that he even left the house at about 230 a.m and after that i am already alone...just good that i already have a dog then, and he is my company after my husband left! hehehe and he sleeps with me sometimes and my fear of sleeping alone is gone!
now i can say that i am not afraid of sleeping alone! i am used to it and i have overcome this fear already...and besides, when my husband left very early, there's always some people outside to guard the place...so i am always assured that i am safe...
maybe in time, you can also overcome that fear...you have to.

when I am sleeping in my own room, I am not afraid to sleep alone. although there are times I would ask my eldest to sleep beside me whenever my husband is out of town but only because I want us to have a little bonding time together before we sleep and not because I am afraid.

I am not afraid to sleep alone. Sometimes I love to be alone - in my own space and sleep alone thinking about my dreams and future. Please know that you are not an exception. I have seen people who are scared to sleep alone. I can sleep along in a big house without thinking about any scary matters.

I was the same way and still am the same way. I got my brother to come live with me but that still didn't help. I have this fear because something that happened to me but I am not posting that. I don't want to scare you more out of your wits than you already are. Can you call your husband to reassure you in the middle of work? I would call my husband a bunch of times. He knew I was scared. I envied my children for going to sleep so soundly and I could not. It is very scary. I chatted with people online many times and told them of my fears. Some would ask me for my address to have the police on standby. As embarrassing as my fear was and still is, I think the most helpful thing is having friends and calling them. Do you have a security system in the house? Have a relative move in. Together we must overcome this fear. Ok.

Yes I am completely like you! I always make sure I have one of my dogs in my room when I got to bed and if I don't I usually end up sleeping with the light on! And I usually can't sleep until 6 am too, Ithink its because the sun comes up and I'm not so scared anymore. lol. So don't worry your not alone!

I really don't mind sleeping alone. I can do it it just seems that I don't always sleep so well when I am sleeping alone. I tend to be a bit more restless whenever my partner isn't in bed with me. However, I can sleep alone. I just don't like sleeping alone for a full 8 hours a night. It makes me quite uncomfortable. I hear all sorts of strange noises at night and it tends to make me quite paranoid.

hi acie_21, i dont think i am afraid of sleeping alone. yes, i can be afraid if i am alone in the house but sleeping alone, no, because i am sleeping from last so many years. after marriage, now i am sleeping with my hubby and our baby , but otherwise i use to sleep alone, always. it is fun i think and you know, that you are not disturbing anyone whatever you are doing in your room. if you are reading also with all the lights on in night, then also it hardly matters, because you are disturbing anyone's sleeep.

hi acie I have been a widow for sometime but I and my son share
apartment until just recently.when he had o work nights and I
knew I was in the apartment all alone I just couldnt get to'sleep.I dont think any of us married or not really like to sleep alone'in an empty apartment or a house.I couldnt go to sleep until he came home.
We each had our own bedroom but it was still an empty house until
I knew he was home.

I also find it difficult to sleep alone, i dont quite think i am scared though, more anxious. I am so used to having my partner sleep next to me it feels lonely if he is not there and im on my own. It often takes me hours to get myself to sleep, wheras if he is there im asleep in 5 minutes.
