I recently got a new domain for my website and I want to have one page be my blog. I use blogger, and I want to be able to embed my blog straight on to one of the pages. How do I do this?

There are few options. The most simple is to include in your website's menu a link to that blog which to open in a new window (many website use this option for their forum link), so that visitor should not leave your site and not be able to come back. Another - better - option is to prepare to dump blogger and build up a blog using your own host and domain. You may loode some readers, despite you will probably announce the new link in old blogger blog. Yet this is best option for long time strategy. Also you may build a framed page, with 2 frames, one 100% width and 1px* height, next 100% width and which will include the blogger blog. You may call that page there with an iframe or the php include function.

I am sort of confused about you suggestions. I am looking to embed one page of my website with my blog. I want to be able to log onto blogger, write an entry, and have it show up on my website on the "blog" page. I have seen several people do this with their websites, and I want to do it with mine. I do not want to dump my blog. I have had this blog for a year and I have several great entries, as well as a good handful of dedicated readers.

This is just a basic and not counting the css of blog. Is just for purpose to understand how can be done and same time let you "see" why a self-hosted blog is a better option. http://five4all.com/rebelmel If you want more detailed or some help, send me a PM and we'll talk more.

I am so confused. I figured out how to do it, though. Look at the comment in the response below this one.

well the most easy thing to do will be to forward the domain to the existing blog. this way you can just do with the blog only and the domain and hosting is also not required. cause you can just buy a domain and then forward it. no need for the hosting space. and also no shifting is required.

I don't want to forward the domain to the blog, I want to forward the blog to the domain. I want the site to have a certain layout and certain features, both of which I will not get from using blogger. I want to embed complex script into my site, and I am pretty sure there are a lot of things that are not supported with blogger. I also want to be able to post downloadable content, and I am nearly positive the blogger doesn't support that.

hello rebelmel, I still comfuse with your question. But, I will try to answer your question. If your answer is how to make subdomain like this www.blog.yourdomain.com . This is very simple, go to cpanel of your hosting and find subdomain folder, so create in there. If your answer is how to connect your blogspot to your own domain, You must buy specific hosting where give this facilities. A lot of hosting give this facilities, ask to hosting customer services. You must guide by customer service. If your answer is How to connect your blogspot to your website in your domain. For example you have domain is www.rebelmel.com , so you will make www.blog.rebelmel.com with your blogspot. You must give some code redirect to your subdomain connect to your blogspot. That code is I hope that is can be explain your answer.

I approved your request. I am having a new problem, now. I embedded my blogs content onto my page, but the scroll box is too small and for some reason it wont resize. PM me and I will give you the link to my new site and you can see what I mean. I don't need the scroll box to be that big because once I get my website up and running I am going to change the layout of blogger so that it fits better. I just don't want to do that and remove page elements before they are transferred to my new site!
