I like to consider myself knowledgeable about wine, particularly very good wines. However, things being as they are, that perfect bottle I may have once enjoyed no longer fits into the budget. These days I have taken to the bigger is better philosophy and usually end up with the 1.5 litre bottles of Bella Sera and Vendange. I have however found a few very good lower end wines. For example Red Guitar Old Vine Tempranillo Garnacha. It is an excellent rich red wine with strong berry flavors and a hint of spice, all for about $10. I have yet to jump into the 2 buck Chuck phenomenon, as I don't think any bottles make it as far as Texas, although I would love to try it. I'm an avid learner and taster !:) I want to know what else is out there that you may have found for around $10 or less that is actually a good wine.
So C'mon admit to being a Cheap Wine Snob and share you finds! What are your favorites?
