Imagine you are in a disco or night club and you are dancing away on the dance floor or you are dancing with your partner, what song would you hate to come on that is guaranteed to get you off the dance floor?
What is the most embarrassing song that could be played at a disco that you wouldn't be seen dead dancing away too?
Have you ever refused to dance with someone because there was a real embarrassing song being played?
One of my most hated songs is 'Who Let The Dogs Out' I can't bear the song they actually had the audacity to play it at a function I went to, well I've never seen the dance floor clear so quickly, I am not sure if it was their intention as the night was still young!
There are some songs that should be totally banned from discos or for people who want to dance the night away
So what song will have you running away if you were up dancing?

"Dee Dee na na na ..... Saturday night, I feel the air is getting hot Like you baby" yep Whigfield and "Saturday Night" that is the song and the stupid dance which would get me running for the exit. I think this would be closely followed by chumbawamba and "I Get Knocked Down". Both songs remind me of when I use to go clubbing and a time I would rather forget, lol.

Oh fond memories Tubthumping! It came out in 1997 I believe, we used to play that on the radio at work, I'd never get fed up with it, we used to tease a lad who worked there who was called Danny. Now I would definitely dance to that tune, maybe cos I'm sad!

hm Wolfie, Good question!!!! I love to dance and will dance to just about anything. But if I left it would probably be that they played a song with a lot of vulgar words or one that insults a woman or a minority. That would get me disgusted in a big way. Will you dance with me Wolfie?? smiles xoxoxoxox

I taught myself to play the guitar and I have an accoustic guitar. I play and sing country clasical music but I also play and sing tunes from the 50's and early 60's. My favorite tunes are Johnny B. Goodie , Lawdy Miss Clawdy, Hound Dog , That's Alright Mama, Blue Suede Shoes and many more. People really enjoy me. By all rights , I shold be famous. I call myself ' Ronnie , The Singing Troubador ".

B.O.B- Monster, I hate this song with all my soul. I hate using the word hate but it is what it is. I was introduced to this song on Madden 2010. Everytime it comes on, I cringe. The only reason why I hate this song is because it so much similar to his first song, In the Sky. There isn't any originality to it. I know it may sounds weird but it is what it is. If it came on while I was on the dance floor, I would more than likely jog off.

Man Eater? :-)
Seriously, I'm very inhibited about dancing. You'd have to get me a bit snokkered to even get me UP there to begin with!

Anything rap would get me off the dance floor in a split second. Plus, there's this song--I don't know the name of it, so I'll put down a line or two--that I absolutely hate, mostly because the lyrics are so lame:
"Cause every time we touch, I feel this feeling
And every time we kiss, I feel I could fly
Can't you hear my heart beat fast, I hope this will last
I need you by my side"
Some of the lines I probably messed up, but that's the basic gist of the song. It drives me nuts.

I think this thing is not surprising. There are many songs sung at the dance halls or night clubs. Not because we do not like.Or a small number of people do not like it,they would not do it.Because they are faced with mass consumption. In fact, you do not have to worry,or angry. There may also be you like to hear, or they were not welcome. Ha Ha. Like, we would appreciate more contact with more. Do not like is not to ignore the better. As long as you like. I wish you happy.

I just can't resist anything by Franz Ferdinand. The energy of their songs always speak to my body, and I can't stand still!! Also, Panic at the Disco, and of course, Michael Jackson. But if I have to chose one song, I'd say Walk Away, by Ferdinand.

I must admit that I'm one of those people that will quite literally dance to anything, any song. I love to dance so it would take a lot to get me off the dance floor.
I think I would leave if they played Who Let The Dogs out, but I think that may be one of the only songs that would make me stop dancing.

I think that I would try to dance to most anything lol no matter how funny it looked. I certainly do not claim to be the greatest dancer but would give it a try. I really love the fact that dancing is just great excercise too. So lets put on our boogie shoes lol

Hey wolfie! I definitely agree! I would leave the dance floor
in a NY second!lol I can't think of songs at the moment that
would make me leave the dance floor, but I'm sure there are
plenty of them! I am just drawing a blank! I can only think
of ones that would make me get up and dance! I can't wait
to see this discussion to find out the ones that I have missed!
Absoultely great discussion my dear brother!
