How's that sound? Cool? THe other day I was day dreaming about when I can shop without looking at the price tag? I walk into a store, just pick up whatever looks pretty to me and pay for it, it sounds so good. Of crouse I wouldn't waste the money on buying something that I don't need or not the right size. What do yout hink about that?...(Maybe I should sleep earlier tonight to catch a good dream...)

The first thing I look at is the clothes, when it looks great on me, I look at the price... if it is too expensive, I have to put it down :-()

Ya know, I've often wondered - If I won a million dollars, would I still be a coupon cutting bargain shopper? And the answer is - yes I probably would! I enjoy clipping coupons and seeing how much I could save on a grocery trip. Or seeing what kind of awesome items I can find on the clearance rack. Even if I had TONS of money, I don't think I could ever be the type to shop without looking at the price tag.

I think clipping coupons is fun and it becomes a habit, you just do it when you get to do it, it is always nice to find good deal even though you hae money to spend with. :-D

That's sounds GREAT. But back to reality, I don't think I can do that. I work in one of big department store here in US . And that's actually a dangerous place for me to work. But it end up I can discipline myself with the shopping habit. If I can do that I believe all my paycheck going right back to my employer...LOL... Hey, keep on dreaming, you'll never know if we hit the big jackpot !!

It's true that I got the employee discount flat extra 20% but there's certain time it's double. I learned that somehow, all item that they are sell eventually will be on sale, so I wait instead of getting it right away. Practically i am there every week so I can always watch the price drop down

I never thought about it, except I am filthy rich at the moment. Otherwise, I never thought about buying things without look at the price tag. I have to look at the price tag before I can make my decision buying it or not. It is like I have to think twice before I can act. I always on budget here.

That would take away the pleasure that you get from finding a real bargain, or the sense of achievement you get when you've managed to save up for something special! I can see the appeal, but have often thought that when you've won the lottery, things just wouldn't be special anymore.

Hello mermaidivy. I never buy anything without looking at the price tag first. It is my habit to always check the price tag first before I decide to buy something. I won't buy expensive things if I can get something cheaper with the same good quality. Take care.

I think that would be most people's dream, whether during the day or at night.LOL Funds for spending on things that we really like or love might be kinda hard to come by for most people. So instead of buying the things that they want, they'd spend it on buying those that they need and within a budget. Hope that dream of yours become reality someday.

yeah, if we have gotten used to looking at the price tag, it would be our shopping habits. But yes, if we had lots of cash, we wouldnt care about how many digits there are on the tag.

Oh I've done that! Really! And it was so fun shopping and buying everything your eyes takes interest in. But it was a well planned shopping spree that I have a budget for it. The money was really intended for buying stuffs that I need. Usually I do that once a year before when economic crises wasn't experienced yet. I would buy everything I need without making the price tag a problem. I remember my brother-in-law saying, that is what we call real shopping. Ciao!

Yes, it these times of crises where money is so important and hard to earn, it would be unpractical to be shopping big time anymore. Shopping has passed and frugal living is the fad now hehe.

That would be a great feeling, and one that seems so hard for me to imagine right now! I would love to be able to do that, especially because everything seems to be so expensive right now, and because I always feel like I have no money

It would be great to just go into a shop and be able to buy something you like without worrying about how much it cost. However, even if I did have a lot of money, I think I would probably still want to know the price of the item before I bought it. I would think even if I was really rich I would want to try and get a good deal. Hope you have a good dream.

Yea, I would still want to know how much to decide whether it worths it or not but sometimes when I don't have a big budget, if the item is over it, I might just put it down; if we don't need to worry about the price, I can just buy it! :-D

Hi mermaidivy! Daydreaming of something that you wanted to happen in your life. Even I for one, when we will go to the malls & I could see a very beautiful & elegant shoes & bags, but when I checked the price tag, the price is also very elegant. Sometimes, I could say to myself, someday, I will become rich and I can afford these stuffs. I think most of us would really dream to have a good, beautiful, rich life, just like a line from a song, "I wanna lay you down in a bed of roses". But God did not allow all of us to have that kind of life because how would we know that he truly exist when we are not given any problems. Just like what is stated in the Bible, Our God is a jealous God. There are also instances that when a person becomes rich, he/she doesn't know anymore to call on God; attitudes changed from good to bad; people forgot where they came from and to put their feet on the ground.

I couldn't even begin to count the number of times i have seen something in a store that just looked "perfect" for me...until i saw the pricetag. Your dream sounds like a wonderful one, and one that i would love to be able to live! Instead though, i tend to stick to clearance racks and shop the best sales i can find. Until that day when i win it big on the lottery or something *sigh*

Boy oh Boy! Those were the days I used to be away from home in college. I would visit the mall every week and the first stores I go to are Marciano, Bebe, Saks Fifth, Coach...you name it all. As you grow older and got your own job you have to start working for your own money. That's when you will know and realize the value of every single thing you buy. Trust me. You work hard to get that money and by the time you want to purchase something, you think twice before you purchase an item. That's when you start thinking, "Is it really worth it to get this item?". You look around twice before you purchase an item because you're actually looking to get a better price on it. But........I know myself and I have been through this situation many times. There are times that when I see something I really like, just out of the blue, I purchase that item without even thinking twice about it. If I don't buy it now, it might not be there later. I don't care if it's a funky color.....I just purchase the item and know that one day there will be something in my closet that will fit perfectly with it ;-)

I always look at the price of an item I am buying. I always place value on things that I buy. If I had the opportunity to shop without considering the price, I think I would still want to know how much it was worth.

Definitely not me. Every time I will surely check the price before I try out the clothes. I would be very disappointed if the clothes look good on me but ended up I am not afford to buy it. Sometimes even if the item do not have price tag, I will willingly check it at the price scanner although it is being placed very far from me.
