yea..it'a gross too.s
it took 6 months for everything to grow back again.
imagine how embarassing that was.
i do feel sorry for the money i pay everytime i go to the salon.
and i wanna start doing it myself again.
i just get scared it's happen to me again.
so'im gonna have to be very careful if I do it myeslf.
I got a pedicure set here, but i always end up in the salon.
(there's this place i can get it for really cheap though, plus a foot rub aftre - - - no extra cost!)

I do wear flip-flops and open toes sandals...
so it shows a lot of my toes.
that's why it bothers me a lot when i don't get my pedicure.

Honestly, i have never had a pedicure, well unless its one done at home by myself, its bad enough for me trying to find time to go and get my nails done without having to find time to get that done also.
I do scrub and paint my nails once a week though to keep my feet looking nice.

It sure does feel good after youve had a bit of pampering of any sort, makes you feel confident and pretty. I love being pampered but with my baby i cant afford to keep going to the salon every 5 minutes to get stuff done so i have brought loads of stuff for at home and Sunday nights is my pamper myself night, i do it all once my baby girl has gone to bed.

When you are self conscious about a part of you, you feel that everyone else is painfully aware of the part of you that you are self conscious about it's like there's a big red arrow in the air pointing at that particular part of your body shouting hey everyone look at my feet, look at my toes! I do the exact same thing, because I am not happy with my mouth I think everyone is staring at it and remarking about it and think I am ugly because of it, sadly unless I get plastic surgery I cannot change my mouth but it still doesn't change the way I feel about it. Least you feel better now that you have had a pedicure. I don't think men go for this or manicures, or I've never seen or heard a man go for either, which is a shame isn't it, because men's hands and toes are probably needy of a pedicure and manicure respectively.

hey wolfie...
thanks a lot.....
yeah i do feel concious about so many things too..
but we're all not perfect and the thing is, we find so many faults on ourselves.
i am guilty of that too...
i hate so many things about me, and i think the only thing that can stop hating some of my body parts is getting a surgery..
but that's how most people are..
we hate on particular thing in our body and want to change it.
sadly, i can't afford it...
but a lot of women think they're fat when they're not.......
i feel that way too,, except that I do have extra weight and I'm not imagining it....
my toes are just one of the things i hate when i dont get a pedicure but at least it's something that can be dealt with.
i just costs a little though.....
but you know whatt?i know a lot of men that gets manicure and pedicure...
i don't think there's soemthing wrong with men having their toes done...
just don't let them paint it lolz!

I've honestly never had a pedicure. I've been tempted to do it sometimes, but I believe that my feet are so ugly that no pedicure in this world could ever help them. You see, our family has a genetic anamoly on our baby toes where we don't ever have baby toenails. This is the reason that I feel that my feet are so ugly. I get these little stubs of a nail and as soon as they develop they fall off. I always thought that it was just be until we had a family reunion a few years ago and the subject of baby toenails came up. It turns out that out of sixteen first cousins, only three of them have baby toenails.
The closest that I've ever come to having a pedicure is buying the pedicure sets from Avon and doing them myself.

hey dora!!
how are you?
you know what?
I have the tiniest toenails in the world too!
i'm 30 years old,yet my toenails are like that of a baby's
..
those who give me pedicure always comment about it,
i go to the same place everytime..
so i sort of become a regular there.
at first they found it hard to clean my tiny nails..
later on we started joking about it and I don't feel embarassed about it anymore.
..
id doea make a lot of difference after pedicure dear..

Hello Patofgold,
WooHoo...it feels good, doesn't it? I love pedicures, it's so relaxing. However for the past few months, I've been doing it myself except for my manicure. I still have to get my manicure done because I have acrylics. :)
Good for you, I am glad you got to enjoy a relaxing day :) we all deserve it now and then.
Happy MyLotting

hi olivia!!!
i don't paint my fingernails or toenails though.
i just love to have them cleaned and brushed..
i opt for the natural color tint......
just to make it look fresh and abay-like......
it's simple and sexy for me..
works great for soemone like me who's always on flip-flops.

yea...
if you wear a lot of flip flop or open toes sandals like I do..
this causes us to worry a lot.
I stare on other people's toes,
so i kinda expect if I have dirty toes they stare at mine too.
it s*cks not having a pedicure,
feels like i'm carrying 1000 tons on my toes...

yes, a pedicure is very relaxing indeed. Though the feet are pampered, I think my entire being feels very relaxed and rejuvenated after a pedicure. I think the main reason is that we put so much pressure on our feet and when the feet are relaxed, we tend to feel relaxed all over.

i gove myself a pedicure if i dont have time to go to the parlor. i have my own nipper and pusher and i also taught my children the hygiene on cleaning their own toe and finger nails. but of course i still go to the parlor and let the expert do it. that is one of the thing i do to reward myself or to pamper myself. in this past few weeks i am so busy so i just cleaned my toe nails just yesterday. i dont like to see my toe nails dirty it wont look good with my toe rings

yeah..i did give myself a pedicure when i was young..
my toes got swollen and I had to be taken to the doctor for a little surgery.
I had to come to the parlor since then.
i seem can't do it right.
glad you're good at it!

hi pat
i never had my pedicure until - 6 months ago - and then i loved it ... it was so nice to be treated like a princess - but dear sometimes it is way out of my budget, it has been 2 months since my last and i cant wait to steal some money from my salary to do this
chers

yeah..i know it costs to have a pedicure.
but it is soooo important to me that I am willing to put off some of the things I need just to get a [edicure.
It does make me feel guilty though.
but I don't shop a lot, I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't use the mobile phone a lot, I seldom dine out..
Im basically a low-maintenace person...
so getting a pedicure ( and a good massage sometimes) are just the two things I reward myself for.......
i think i deserve it though

i used to want a pedicure so much when i was single that it came to the point that my toenails would break due to length and dryness. when i got married and can hardly afford the time and / or, sometimes, cash for it i realized that i can do without it. just a weekly trim. besides i chose to stay at home so my feet gets all the rest they can get. i also prefer thongs or flip flops since any other type of shoes produces callouses for me. the last time i had my pedicure? i think last year .

oh wow....
it's good you can manage to go through a whole year without pedicure..
that must had made me nuts!
it bothers me when i don't get pedicures ..
and I hate to look at my feet..
i don't settle with just brushing or trimming, seems like it's not enough.
good thing you're not used to it.
it saves you a lot of money!

I just had it done two weeks back. Like you have said had to postpone it every weekend but finally got it done. It is so relaxing and feel so good after a pedicure. I usually get it done in a beauty parlour. At times i feel i can do it more often if i start doing it at home. But it soothes you when some one does it for you.
Happy mylotting.

Good for you!
I love the feeling of getting a pedicure done, and how I feel immediately afterward.
Your feet are scrubbed, washed, scrubbed again, cleaned, washed, polished, painted...it's a treat for your feet.
Sometimes I feel it's a good stress buster for me, in that it helps me relax.
There's something about getting my feet massaged and scrubbed and creamed that makes you feel great!
And when you walk out of that salon, you feel like a million dollars!
Sigh...
