I ran out of discussions to reply to

I decided to start this discussion because I seem to have run out of discussions to reply to. This made me realize that I've been mylotting for so long. Does this happen to you too? When you run out of discussions to reply to, what do you do? Do you just log out of myLot or start your own discussion?

Ever since I joined over two and a half years ago it has never happened that I have run out of discussions to respond to. This is discussion number 2114801 since myLot started. Assuming, though it is just for the sake of an example, that half of them have been deleted, that still leaves over a million discussions still available and I'm sure I could find very many that I have not found yet. I go to friends' profiles and find something there or I go back to discussions that I intended responding on and didn't due to lack of time. I go to the 'new user' tab and help out a new user by responding there. I never start a discussion unless I have something very different to post. I just can't possibly begin to imagine that the day wil ever come when I can't find something to respond on here ... ever

I guess I should have made my meaning clearer. I ran out of topics to respond to because I couldn't find one that interests me. Maybe I was also looking at the wrong places. I think I will follow your example and also help a new user whenever I can't find topics that I want to respond to.

All the new users, and the older ones, are always happy to see a response and I'm sure you will find something there that interests you, even though you might have to go back through a few pages.

That's happening right now for me. Some discussions cannot be answered at all and some could. I hope the glitch will be repaired soon, or perhaps there is an upgrade or some maintenance on the lot..

I paused for a moment because we were out of breath caused by a number of ideas that must be spent to answer all the questions that have. when run out of the discussion, I just hope this issue resolved quickly because today I was not able to respond to new discussions or make it.

Everyone's been having trouble here lately because the discussions that we can participate in were lessened. But I think this is a good opportunity to make more comments on each other's discussions and therefore make this community more lively. I'm actually enjoying making lots of comments.

I never run out of discussions to respond to, yes I sometimes feel that the discussions are not interesting enough or similar discussions have been started again and again, thats when I feel bored, but it doesn't mean I log out of my-lot immediately or start my own discussion. I hardly start 1 or 2 discussions in a month, thats quite less, most of the time respond to whatever discussion is available at that moment. If I don't find anything in first page of all the Recent , friends started, hot, no responses, new user tabs I then scan and go through the older ones and then respond to that. I am doing it at the moment, this discussion was started 2 months back, but I found it worth responding so I dropped in to respond! Try doing tasks or uploading photos or just dropping comments in your friends profile, if you don't have mood to respond to any discussion that day! Don't worry my-lot has vast range of activities to offer. May be you have not added many interests in your list, try to increase your list of interests as well! Good Luck and keep posting/discussing

Hi,angel,it has been happening to me since my joining.Because-we are mix of all countries and every body expected the discussions related to universal. But few members post discussions related to their local issues which others may not understand and give response. This cause members to go on search for universally related discussions to post response and finally found after 2-5 minutes. At that times members may feel bore and shift to another interesting task. All the best and have a nice time.

I know what you mean. Sometimes it's really hard to understand each other because of our cultural differences. Sometimes we get caught up in our own ideas that we find it hard to accept those of other people. We'll have to open our eyes a bit wider so that we could see past our differences.

I have the exact opposite problem, I don't have enough time here to answer everything that I want to. First, I respond to my email alerts, and respond to the ones that I can from my friends list. Then I check top and hot topics to see what's up there, and again, respond to a few Because I am a newbie also, I always go into new user and reply to two or three. Then I try to respond to a couple of "no responses" everyday, because, well, I would hate it if that happened to one of my discussions.

Wow, your mind must be really active all the time! I wish I could be like you. Sometimes I feel like my head is going to burst from thinking of replies to discussions. Just keep up the good work. I'm sure you'll reach payout in no time at all. Happy mylotting!

That happens to me sometimes too. The first week I was at mylot, I browsed through the interests that I liked and responded to those discussions. When I finally got done there, I checked out the new discussions every morning. Sometimes I find myself at the last page of the new discussions and then I would check out the recent discussions and those could run out too. I usually stop searching by then and just start my own discussion

Hello animegirl. I browse through my interests too. The topics that I usually respond to are the new discussions. When I really can't pick any of the new discussions I go to those without replies.

i don't stop mylotting and i don't think there will be time that we will run out of discussions to respond to. what i usually do now, is to go to the discussions my friends started. even those oldest discussions that they have and i was not able to respond to, i still respond. when i have a new friend who already have a lot of discussions, a new friend in my list, just like you, as of this moment, i go trough their discussions and if i can relate or it interest me, i do respond.

that's odd..with more than ten pages or new, recent,no response, top and hot discussions, how on earth can you run out of discussions to reply..well, unless you feel that you run out of interesting discussions that needs your expert reply or advice. am sure there are more of them out there.

Hello LetranKnight. That's what mysdianait said too. Sometimes I find it hard to find discussions that I want to respond to because the topics don't pique my interest. And I must admit, searching through all the topics can be so tiring. I guess it would also be a good idea to just start my own discussion when I don't want to reply anymore.

Sometimes it takes some time and some searching to keep finding discussionsto respond to, but that is when i stop looking through my interests and new iscussions, and start visiting my friends profile pages to see what THEY have been responding to. There are SO many interests out there that someofmy friends might subscribe to that i just didn't notice or haven't run across yet. Many times going through the discussions they hve responded to, this brings me to new interests that i never would have thought of looking for on here, and then i can add them and have an even wider variety of discussions to peruse though.

Hello fruitcake. That usually happens to me too. When I've searched through all the discussions I start at the first page to see if I missed something. If that still doesn't work, I check the homepage to see the discussions where my friends participated in.
