Many of us wear Specs/Specks/Eyeglasses which helps us correct our vision defects.
Even I am one of the Specs users. When I remove my specs, I look a bit wierd. I prefer to keep my specks on my face for most of the time. I hardly ever remove them from my face. When I remove them, everybody tells me that I look wierd. The specs have given me dark circle around my eyes. my nose is pushed towards insite at both ends of eyes.
Do you also have the same difficulty? Do you look wierd when your specs are removed?

I am a specks wearer. I only wear my specks when I absolutely have to. I wear them for work but as soon as I leave work I take them off. People who know that I wear specks actually have to look twice when they see me without them. For me I find I don't look wierd when I take them off I actually look more like myself.

I'm the same way! Only wear them when I have to. I remember friends in college and stuff who would be like "I didn't know you wore glasses". LOL Because that is how rare it is. I wear them for seeing long distances, especially with fine details.

No my friend, change is good. At first it will seem different. You will keep pushing up your glasses and they won't be there, youll' keep looking in the mirror at youself, and then you'll be used to it, and happy they're gone. If you are going to wear contacts then at least once a week you should give your eyes a rest and wear your glasses. You'll also appreciate not having your glsses slide down your face on hot and humid days. So go get them and give them a try. I thonk you'll be glad you did. Good luck

I am the opposite actually, I only wear my glasses for stuff like watching tv, seeing far distances, and even when I'm on the computer most the time. Basically anytime I need my vision to be sharper. Other than that, I prefer not to wear my glasses, they sometimes get on my nerves and I don't really like how I look with them. I tried to get contacts years ago, but couldn't put them in, so I wasn't allowed to take them, I probably could have learned had I been allowed to have them, take them home and practice, but they wouldn't let me. So yea, I have always worn my glasses only if I needed to, luckily I can see well enough without them for most things, my issue seems to be with sharpness and focus at a distance. So I guess I feel like I look weirder with my glasses on.

My pre-eyeglasses friends (the one who have seen me way before i wore glasses)say that i look the same without my glasses. However, my friends who knew me as a specs-wearer told me that my eyes are much smaller. Because of that i dont remove my glasses much except when im at home.
