In this today's society, it is hard to live now because of financial crisis. Many people are opted to stay single than in married life.. especially for those who are successful in career... Is it true? they say that married life is so much trouble and so much burden.

I like being married because I like the thought that I belong to a family of my own. I love children and I think not having a father figure is sad and for them to grow up illegitimate creates some form of insecurity...at least because of how society look at it. However, being single is cool also as some people prefer not to commit to someone for life and they have their own reasons that should be respected. It's a personal choice. A lot of relationships are successful without a piece of legal paper...like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel :)

I have never been married(Thank God!) and never will get married! I would be extremely unhappy if I was! I need to dependent on myself and not anyone else! Another reason I'm singe is I have had to many lousey relationships and don't want to go through the hassle again! Being with someone is to much trouble and a burden! I see way to many unhappy married people! It isn't for me! Being single or being married is a chose. So is being happy! I'm happy and single! Amen!

Ever since I was younger, I always wanted to have a family of my own. A loving, responsible, understanding husband to take care of and to have 6 six cute children (3 girls & 3 boys) to love and to cherish. Until today, this has still been my dream, though there were minor changes, like I wanted to have 2 twins and I also wanted to have a 3-storey house with a swimming pool and a very huge lawn where there would many plants and flowers. I know this is just a dream, but this might happen through the grace of God, but even though I wouldn't be able to have a very huge house, but the important thing is to a decent house to live in with my family.

I think this is a personal preference. I for one prefer to be married. I've been married to the same man for 20 yrs and love it. There is no way that I would want to go into the single life. I am successful and worked many years in a career before deciding to stay home and raise our child, who is now 8. Many of my friends are single, some have been married and are now divorced. I don't know any of them that enjoy single life.
