I've just started walking outdoors and now started training for running. I can't believe the difference I feel mentally. I have used the treadmill & eliptical for years and never felt the mental release I feel when I go outdoors...

KMPierce It has become addictive! The weather is starting to get bad & cold here, but I'm still out almost everyday. I'm hoping to keep it during the winter- I may have to resort the the treadmill.

KMPierce You just go the easy route and buy something frozen and cook it. There all kinds of Italian dishes in the freezer section. Italian is one of my favorites. You might try lasagna for your friend. It's much better than macaroni. Good luck!

KMPierce I try to get up early and walk at least for 30 min to an hour. It's hard to stay on a schedule with a busy life but just get a routine down and it gets easier.

KMPierce I totally agree with you on this!! When your young you make everything into a big thing.... you can't make every part of your life a whirlwind. No one will take you seriously - maybe that's why young people feel they have to work soo hard to prove themselves....

KMPierce Yes, I know the shows get tiring after awhile for me. My son could watch them over and over and over again. I personally like boomerang because it has older cartoons on it that i can watch with him and takes me back to my childhood.

KMPierce I agree. There is something not right about this. There needs to be stricter dress codes at public pools and lakes. I have no problem with people wearing what they want, but in public around children there needs to be more discretion and respect.

KMPierce I totally agree with this. I can sing our National Anthem, without mistakes, also. I think it is a shame that people don't know it and seemingly don't get the meaning behind it. We should sing it at major public events.

KMPierce I think it's great to plan your day. It's good to be organized, this way your day runs smoothly. I have, from time to time, pushed things back so I can sleep in. That doesn't happen very often, but it does happen. I usually end up feeling guilty about it...
