I guess this is an impossible goal for me, but....

Currently my earnings sit at $2.02 USD. To earn my payout for the month, I'd need to earn $7.98 USD in five days about $1.60 USD every day. I've earned that only a few times, and only during a period where I had no other means to earn money. I'd be living on the computer and I work every day through Saturday (at least!), and most likely through the end of the month. I don't think it's going to work in my favor , but I am going to give it a try! Won't everyone help me out, and post a response that I can answer? Thanks!

I like ur spirit. That is the way to go. :-) I hope u succeed. Do remember to inform if u do succeed. And if u do, u will have the confidence to achieve almost $2 per day. Next month u can plan to take almost $50 (taking out a few days for urself). Here is wishing u all the best. :-)

I'd actually prefer to have more than a few days to myself--I enjoy spending time away from the computer, especially when the summer is waning, such as it is here in the US. I don't think it's confidence I need to earn $2 a day (which doesn't pay for much here), it's perseverance. I just tend to have a really short attention span! Since I posted this, I managed to only earn 24 cents (posted today). I feel like the Little Engine That Could (a fairy tale).

Thanks Keven! For a newbie, you're getting the ideas of having more than one or two words for a response. I'm not planning to give up, just not getting myself all hyped up--not making my goal (if that's what it was) would have probably made me too upset! Thanks for cheering me on!

It's a hard task but it's definitely possible. If you're really committed, then you could start a few discussions a day, respond to those responses and then answer all the new discussions. Good luck getting to the minimum payout. Happy mylotting

Thank you...it IS a hard task, but I'd have to be super committed to achieving my goal. This was my first idea for a discussion...I'm still trying to come up with some other topics that might appeal to others. Thanks for the words of encouragement!

Since it's my second account here. this is the second time that i reached more than twenty dollars in my earnings even though i just set it to ten dollar pay out.but am not gonna change it since my goal is always small. These are things I Did for the past thirty days. Simply made at least two unique discussions almost every day. then when i got responses, I would comment on them. i respond to both newbies and oldies discussion. but the best technique was introduced by my friend rberon was barging in. try that in other discussions, because it has worked for me. am sure it's gonna work for you. and i had goal also of posting fifty post a day

I found that if I RESPOND to someone's response in a NEW discussion (one I didn't start), I can also make money. The hard part is creating the unique discussions (I did that last night though). I think I've got another topic in mind; I'll just have to remember it. Strangely, I've got about 15 to 20 replies I need to complete this morning--most days I've only found the newsletter from myLot in my mailbox.

It will be the first of Oct. Before I reach even $10. So I have to admit it does take awhile but if you keep at it you will get there, it's just a matter of time, and effort. I don't hardly ever look at the earning's, I just reply, and post and have fun. I think that is the best way to do it.

I have to sat that it's not truly my goal to reach payout by September 1st...like I had mentioned, I do work 2 jobs and go to school too. But I'll have fun trying--that's all I can do. I just can hope that more people will post discussions that interest me--that's been the hardest part!

I only earned about 24 cents from yesterday, but I only started two discussions, and answered five or six. I really didn't put a lot of effort until this morning, and even that wasn't a lot (mostly responding to my discussions I started). I tried to do a task; however, I had to go to work for 7 hours, plus getting ready...so you know it expired before I finished. Oh well, I guess I'll never do their work again!

scorpiobabes, The way I see it here is no different from you. To achieve that balance is really quite a feat unless you have a knack of writing and able to respond to most of the discussions here. I do feel that you should also consider having active referrals with you here in myLot. It does help especially when all of you are actively writing and doing the tasks inside here. Have a nice day.

Thanks Sky. As for having referrals, I think I've only had 3...and they're long gone. None proved to be that prolific either--but for the person who signed me up, I'm sure I've earned a lot of money for them. For me, it's more about having interactions with others. I've had a problem with quite a few discussions--sometimes people that post them don't put a lot of thought, plus in recent months, one of my friends passed away, and another is out for a medical condition (she posts GREAT discussion topics). I'll get back into eventually though.

/Wave @ Scorpiobabes Just one more response for you to respond to. On my end I'm just trying to get back to the grind. I'll have to go soon since I've got a gaming event (well, I think I do, if not I'll just end up back here probably.) Oh and if you think your earning situation is bad, check out some of my recent responses. As always, it'll take a LONG time to get anywhere on the payout side of things. But, I wouldn't have it any other way. Now if only I could get me a higher star...

You are not alone! I was so busy these last few days and even weeks. I am very far to reach the minimum of ten dollars. Last month I started to join here on 18 of July 2009, I was so happy after receiving my first payment of twenty six dollars and sixty five cents. I had a promised to myself to earn higher this month since it would be a complete thirty days to work with. But I was doing other activities hence I am very far to my target of at least fifty dollars even the ten it would be far possible to reach at the end of August. Well, I would just enjoy and accumulate any amount if in case I cannot hit at least ten of fifty dollars.Happy mylotting

Like you, I've been incredibly busy (I also go to school and work two jobs), plus I haven't really seen discussions that I wanted to be part of. I suppose if I sat down and focused on making it happen, I could--all it takes is a few choice discussions with lots of responses. Of course those choice discussions are usually controversial at best, and a lot of fighting happens...I'm a lover, not a fighter!

You'd have to do alot of writing, but it's possible. Just reply to every single discussion on MyLot. My problem is I am too picky on what discussions I reply to, but I think I'm slowly getting better at it. Anyways, good luck on reaching your goal, let us know how it goes!
