I don't know how does it feel, but stalking people on mylot by responding to almost every discussion they are in and in every discussion they ever replied to? I am being kind of stalked by some one right now on mylot and I am actually liking it. Don't worry you will come to know who it is, once that person posts. Now come on you know, you want to post.
Others, tell me. Do you stalk your friends here on mylot. I mean take the positive connotation attached with it. Have you been doing it conciously or unconciously and you don't even know you are stalking! ?
So post your comments here.
Ooh and does the picture look spooky?? For me when I see it, my hairs on the back of my hand stand up!

I wonder who is stalking you?
I love stalking several of my friends here. Some of them know I am doing it to 'push' them up to a certain goal they have.
Some are trying to get to payout and I 'land' and give them the chance to comment back and earn a bit more.
Some are trying to reach a certain number of posts and gain the smilies and by landing on their discussion they go up a point and get one step nearer
Then I have another who 'stalks' me in my PMs almost every day and leaves a cheerful message which brightens my day every time I read it
I wonder what your stalker is stalking you for...

Yes yeah I just saw that too. My star has gone red from yellow and the number has gone ot 9 from 8. Oh that is a nice reason to stalk people, to help them reach their individual goals. And look who's asking me, "who's my stalker" LOL, The stalker herself. (lol)
Thank you for your response. As usual for today, its again a first post.
:)
Now today I am going to make it to 200.
You see it.

Positive stalking as you describe t is the heart of Mylot and helps us to get to know our friends better, as well as ensuring good discussions. Yes, I am a stalker, and I know of several friends who stalk me.
I've also been the victim of a negative stalker, and that is not so welcome. My star went from 9 to 6 overnight. That was 2 months ago, and I'm still not back where I was, but at least my stalker has got tired and left me alone, as I knew would happen. I don't know what makes such people tick - I'm just glad I'm not like that.

You think I might lose some weight
while rushing around doing all this 'pushing up'?

Did I unconciously talk about positive stalking? Goodness Gracious. I am so proud that now even my unconcious mind understands mylot so well. (lol. Was it funny enough?)
On a more serious note, positive stalking is what makes people tick here and forge great working friendships and relationships. (Guess I am on right track?). Negative stalking is very bad and I am sorry to hear that you are a victim of one. But as you said, stalkers do get tired one day and stop stalking. Though I would like the positive ones to keep going (Did I call out your name mysdianit?). Oh don't worry about the star rating. It will be back up in no time.
Thank you for your response and happy mylotting.

You must be very strong, because I've been 'pushed up' today, and that's no easy task. I'm also 'pushing' you, and you don't feel too heavy to me - probably because you've given up Mars bars and Wispas!

I saw the comment on your other response[funny incident] and as I read that you soon meet me in some other discussion I just peeped into your profile and wanted to respond. THe moment I saw this I came in and realised that you were talking about this'stalking' in a positive sense. But, 'stalking' is a negative word isn't it?The topic was misleading and I even had second thoughts about responding before I read through he whole discussion and the subsequent responses.Normally, I make it a point to respond to the discussions started by friends. All other discussions come afterwards , depending on the topic. So, there is your answer.
Have a nice day.

Oh thank you for the response and I appreciate your looking through my profile for some discussion to respond to.
I intentionally created a duplex kind of discussion, so I can have more responses and the discussion to come alive. People do stalk others.
Yes I agree stalking is a negative word, but on mylot, stalking does have a positive connotation as you can see said by others too. So we did bump into each other, though it was intentional on your part, lol

I don't stalk anyone and I don't think I am being stalk either. I don't see responding to my comments as stalking me, I think it's coincidence and if it's my friend, it's normal to do that. I don't follow each and every of my friend's discussion and comments either. I only reply to any discussion that I feel like replying too.

Well I don't know if it's exactly "stalking" but I just think it's a mutual thing if you're friends with someone here that they will usually reply to your discussions and vice versa--but yes, at least this kind of stalking is a positive friendly type

Your picture is a little spooky. I've never heard of hairs on the back of someone's hand standing up - I've heard of the hairs on the back of someone's neck standing up - that's happened to me - when I'm really afraid - after night terrors - look it up if you're not sure what it is - I get hot prickles all over. And its exactly what it sounds like - hot goose pimples.

I might on some days. I have different things I do each time I sign in when I'm in mylot mode. In the past, some of these were logging on and spending my time going through my old discussions and choosing the best response - is that still here?
Sometimes I choose a friend and just go through a bunch of their discussions. While other days, I go to conversation starters with no responses so that I can start the ball rolling and get it pushed back to the top so people can see it, although I don't think it works that way anymore. Sometimes I go to today's top or look up a certain subject and respond to those discussions.
I will look more closely at your picture to see if its scary to me.

Hi,
It's good that the kind of "stalker" you refer to in this discussion was qualified by those who responded. I almost thought you were speaking of the "troll-like" stalker.
If stalking means being in almost every discussion a particular member starts, then maybe I am a stalker. My rule of thumb here at myLot: respond to friends first before responding to others. So maybe a member may see me in almost all of his/her discussions because he/she is in my friends list. I say almost because I don't actually follow all their discussions, only those that interest me or those that I have something to say about. But they are always on my priority list, so when they start something that I can relate with, they can expect me to be there! Happy myLotting!

Im not sure if I would call that stalking or not. You can get earnings different ways on mylot. I thought the more you made comments the more you earned. Did someone lead me wrong? I really don;t think they did. Just appreciate the comments know matter where they come from..

You do get earnings for everything you do, for every post you write.
Stalking friends is fun and makes them write something back so you are doing them a favour by 'landin' on their response or comment

I do believe that at times I am one of those positive kind of stalkers. When people respond to discussions I have started, then I go to their profile and try to find a discussion that they started that interests me and respond to it. As I am doing this, sometimes I find discussions that they have responded to that catch my attention, so I check them out, too. This would probably be considered "comment stalking", so I guess I am guilty of it. In fact, that is how I ended up at this discussion - lol! ;-)

Nice! Thanks for the tip! I really try to do the whole "quality" thing, but once I get to the 200 mark I can focus on that again.
