If You Were Held Up By A Mugger Would You Give You Wallet Or Fight?

I'd give them my wallet. Nothing is worth fighting for. However, I would scream very, very loudly. I've heard that if someone screams most crooks will run away because they're afraid of someone catching them.

Here ya go buddy! There isn't anything inside a purse or wallet that is worth getting injured or worse.

Good question. My gut response would be to fight back, but so many people are armed these days that it would be most sensible to hand over my wallet (wouldnt do him much good, there is rarely much in it!) and run for it.

You should never fight!! Even if you don't see a weapon, that doesn't mean the attacker doesn't have one hidden. All the money in the world isn't worth losing your life over.

it depends on where it happens, if it's in a busy place I may not just hand it over and yell for help

Part of me says that I would fight, but the logical part of me says that I would probably give them what I wanted before I really knew what was happening. A purse can be replaced, but a life, especially my children's lives, can't be. Part of me would be angry and want to fight, but I think that it would happen so fast that I would probably do what they wanted and then throw a hissy fit about it later.
