I have 3 minutes to post this. I spent the day at the school selling PE uniforms. I just found out that one child has open house tonight. Now I get to run home change and drive back to the school. I resigned as PTSA president, but I'm still very involved. Those of you who have children in school... Is your life as nuts as mine??

The back to school rush has calmed down a little. Unfortunately, my daughter is missing one book for school still. I had to split the order in half and I ordered the last of her books last week. 4 of the came within a week. The one that she needs the most out of the 5 I ordered, of course is the one that hasn't arrived. It's made things a bit challenging in school, but she's working it out. I will probably have to call the bookcompany that I ordered from on Monday. I also still need to buy a pair of running shoes for my son, who is taking PE. I put that off too because I am still working on a pretty tight budget. Now it's on to making sure my Dad gets to his appointments. He has a Dr. appointment coming up and I just made a dentist appointment for him and for myself. Thanks for replying to my discussion. It's always nice to hear from you!

What about those of us without children in school... or children at all...? I feel so left out Miamilady. At least the last question I can answer. My life probably isn't as nuts as yours, but at least at the end of most days I'm nice, worn and tired... does that count? Good luck this year too Miamilady.

I have no doubt that people who do not have children can have lives that are just as hectic! We just spend our time differently. Haven't seen you in a while. I'll check out your discussions and see if theres something I can relate to. Didn't mean to make ya feel left out (though I know you were kidding) but right now a large part of my life revolves around my kids so most of the topics I post will be related to them in one way or another.

Well, just take your time Miamilady. :) You know I understand full well if you or most others can't respond to discussions. Just take it at your own pace and best of luck when it comes to the dealings of real life.

hello miamilady, it's been awhile that i have not responded to your posts actually have not been coming here for many months...but i miss reading my favorite topics so here i am again... we certainly in the same situation. i am a working mother of 3 and they all go to school already. managing between work and attending to their school needs really make me nuts all the time. have to work at 8 in the morning up to 6 o clock in the evening. after a busy day at work at night when i arrive home i still have to review with them their lessons and help them with their assignments then put them to bed as early as possible as school start very early in the morning. anyway, despite a very hectic schedule everyday i am enjoying it as well. it also give me some fulfillment knowing that i am managing quite well work and family life combined. so don't worry mia you are not alone in this predicament...much luck to both of us...

In some ways, I'm glad that I'm not working right now. I have more hours in the day to make time for everything, but it still seems like I have more to do than I can keep up with sometimes. Thanks for replying to my discussion. I guess all we can do is keep on going and hope that one day things will slow down a little. Ejoy the small moments!

lol Thanks for your post. I know things will slow down eventually. I try to take the good with the bad in each day. I know there are some things that I will miss! And there will be some things that I certainly won't miss.
