do you think chat friends are trustworthy?

it is very difficult to indentify who can be trusted and who cannot be. in the virtual world, people tend to pose as good and friendly and then they try to extract personal information from you. well, there are people who are even good. i have soe virtual friends who are better than my real friends. if you keep interacting with the virtual friends and they don't ask for personal inforation then or they don't get into your personal life then they can be trusted to some extent. my virtual friends never ask my personal information but whenever i need their help or whenever i need to share soe hapiness or sorrow with them, i find them with me. if this virtual world has people with mean mentality then it also has people with good hearts. choose your friends judiciously and rationally, this is the basic funda.

Well I wouldn't suggest trusting anyone you talk to in a chat room, even someone you've talked to for a few months. But there are those people out there that are trustworthy you just have to follow how consistant they are, the longer you know them. For instance, when I was about 14 I met this guy online who was my age and we became very close. I shared everything with him and well I think vice versa? lol. Anyways, we talked online for a good 4 years before we finally met in person. And he was everything he said he was. But you just have to becareful and I wouldn't trust anyone for a long time. They would have to earn it.

It is hard to find people who are totally honest especially in the chat room. One can easily claim to have this profession. You should be very wary of what you divulge for they might be predators. It is better to be careful than be sorry.

I dont think they are a bit trustworthy, especially with chatting with girls, I dont like chatting with strangers, I never did chatting withj stranger, that is the reason why I am nt chatting, we cant just guess hw their nature & behaviour as they will behave like an innocent person so I am nt agreed with they are trustworthy...
