I proofread the post and replies I make here about 50% of the time. Call me lazy, I use to proofread all of them. But somedays I just don't care. Today is one of those I don't care to proofread days. Hope you don't mind my being lazy today. If you do care, bite me!

I always do proofread my posts and anything else that involves typing or writing things. I still manage to miss some mistakes that I have made though. It is good to proofread because other people may not understand what you are trying to say in your discussion. I try to emphasize how important it is to proofread to the students that I work with so when they get jobs they will turn in quality work and make a good impression on their boss.

Hey, you can do less proof reading if you download a plug-in called IE spell.
Another user posted about it in another discussion and I just had to try it.
Talk about catching typos that I would not have caught even proof reading! LOL
Do a search on it...it really helps. :)

Hey! I right there with ya. I seem to not be proof reading my posts today either.
And pretty much, half the time I do...half the time I don't.
Sometimes my daughter side and looks over my shoulder and says oops...then I know I typo'd. LOL

LOL Your right. I think I should start proof reading more often.
It has been rough last few days and not sure if it is going to get better. But hey! Thanks for pointing out. I will start proof reading more. :P

I try to, but often my fingers run away with me and its only after I press send that I realise that there are spelling or grammer errors.

I glance over them at the preview discussion screen, but I don't freak out about it. Since English is my first language, I have an advantage in making my posts clear without too much effort that other people may not.

of course, i do. if one is good at typing, and clear in his phrasing the sentences, he doesnt need to proof read his posts always. but for a person of some command of english language, proof reading is easy and is a good thing to do..

Yes I do, but I am not perfect either. I probably have a lot of spelling errors,

I try to proofread them all. I wish more people would. And I wish more people would spell words right or use the right words.
