To build or not to build

Do you like to build houses and city lots? Or do you prefer to just play with what the game designers gave you? Or do you download houses and lots that other people have built?
I really should look into something like Sim City because I love creating malls and parks in the downtown areas or even in the Neighborhood view. I almost like doing that better than playing with my characters.

I like to design and build houses as i want, and I like enjoy this process, i don't think this is time-wasted thing.

Me too, there are times that I'd rather just design and not play that I feel like I need more bucks because there are still missing furnitures. And sometimes I draw the myself. I like architecture and interior design. They are both fun and challenging.

I havent attempted a house yet and been just using what is given until I figure out the gist of the rest of the game first. I think if you like building the houses more than interacting with the characters it would be enjoyable. But then again then why not switch to sim city if thats the case.

I like to build houses too. I probably build a new one everytime I play. Do you prefer the pc version or one of the Xbox etc versions?

I mostly use whats there.... im lazy....lol I would build myself when I have the urge. I mainly download when I want a particular themed house that my own build mode houses dont live up to....which is most of the time:-(

I'd build the house instead of having the premade designs. Sometimes I bulldozed the premade just to have a cheap lot. I think it's cheaper to design your own because there are stuffs you don't usually need and there are stuffs you prefer the other variety. I can't have it screen shot, I play it on the PS2. I had it once on the pc but that computer broke down since it was a 98 version. I also like making malls but playing on a laptop is slow so I had to quit the game.
