A Wedding for Dogs!! What do you think?

I was watching a documentary on TV this afternoon, and I was amazed to see a wedding not for humans, but for a dog couple. Yup, it was a wedding between a Yorkshire terrier and a Shih-tsu. The owners took the trouble to rent a hotel room, and the management of this hotel prepared all the necessary (including a portable poop bag) for this. Then a priest was also called to solemnise the marriage. What I thought was truly unique was that both these dogs had their paw prints on a wedding certificate in front of invited guests.
What do you think of this event? This event took place in Japan.

I think this is a bit off the wall. Meanwhile there are gay people in the world that can't get married, but two dogs can. Where is the logic in all this. Why would anyone go thru all this anyway. Its very strange to me.

He lelin1123, there are lots of strange things happening around the world. Only yesterday i saw a man roller-skating on a handrail, and midway through he tipped over and fell on hard cement, face down! What is strange to us is definitely not strange to them.

I think this is ridiculous. Why can't people use all the money they spend on crazy things like dog marriages and give it to charity. There are millions of people in this world that are going hungry, have no shelter and don't even have clean water. Yet, there are people in this world spending money on dog weddings. Seriously, what is wrong with our world?

This is so idiotic..... those dogs doesn't even know whats happening to them. its so weird. but actually letting them for proper mating also make some sense but this is not cool. its just waste of money, time and everything.

I don't like the behavior of this host. I think that many people are poor .Even some people have not enough food . Although the dog and people are animals .But the human has not capacity to do it .If the host has lots of money ,why he don't support the people who need help.

This is insane. Just when you think you've heard it all...
I hope the hotel soaked them for half of their fortune. But of course, because they televised it, they probably made money off of it. The rich get richer.
