How do you love the unloveable?

Shouldn't love show no conditions??? They are a child of God who simply does not understand. They will have hard lessons to learn. Make them your best friend. Your unconditional love will hold you dear to them. Your actions will show them the right direction. You will rub off on them. Sometimes to fix the problem, you have to get down to the root of the problem. Hard to do from a distance.

When people really really bug me, I pray and ask God to help me to see them through His eyes. I have been amazed at how my heart warms toward a person that I have prayed in this manner for. I am asking for God to help my heart toward them. There are, though, some people who are just plain trouble and/or trouble makers. While God gives me a heart to love them and to even pray for them, I avoid them as much as possible. I do not respect or love certain actions and some actions I will not tolerate in my presence. That is a whole lot different than hating a person. I can still pray for the person with sincerity and ask God to help them, etc.

I´m afraid I´m just not capable of loving everyone. There are some people I turn away from, even before I say hello to them. My body´s chemistry warns me. I don´t think all people merit that I love them. And probably other people will think that of me. I like people but there´s always a red light somewhere that will light it and say BEWARE in some cases.

I find it very hard to love all my neighbours, some are just too difficult to find any redeeming qualities in, especially when I see how badly they treat others. & while I don't go out of my way to wish any living creature harm, I am just not capable of showing anything but contempt for an individual who does all her can to harm others.
