I have a headache now because I am working under pressure. I have a deadline to meet today, but it seems I have to stay back till mid night at office to complete the work. The work is not moving as smooth as I expected.
Do you get a headache when you are working under stress?

Sometimes the same thing happened on me. I think that is because i've low blood pressure which usually make me headache. I'm a low blood pressure person, but i'm sure such same thing can happened on high blood pressure people as well. So, this is a serious pain which can be happened on everyone. I will feel dizzy when i get stress with my job. That's why i won't pending my works because if i must finish crowded works at the same time, it will causing me dizzy and headache. I always try to eat nutrious foods which good for my low blood pressure matter but it doesn't help much. I think having enough rest and relaxing is more helpful for such people like me. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

That is a good way to look into it. Arrogance varies from person to persona and it also depends on how another person takes it. I may think that I am behaving in a a nice and decent way to a person, but that person may think that I am arrangant. Personal prefereces and pecularities matter. I will never make my head ache for unnecessary emotional issues. Work is my food, so I need to do a good job and take extra efforts because my performance is important.

Thanks for the response. Work is a big pressure to me sometimes especially when I have tight timelines to meet. The problem with me is whenever I get a headache due to pressure, I get vomiting sensation also. Both of those probles come together for me, but the interesting part is that I won't vomit. I just have the tendancy.

Some headaches are not due to pressure of work. It can come because of too much arrogance. Vomitting is a good sign that nature is making efforts to clean the internal systems of all ego and arrogance. People usually emerge a better person after a vomit. So dont try to stop vomitting. It cant be low blood pressure surely. It must be veryyy high blood pressure. Kick the doctor who said its low blood pressure.

Hy!
Tell me about headaches. I do get a headache each time I am stressed. I also get some kind of skin allergy when I am under tremendous stress. This has started happening recently. I am a patient of migraine and get these headaches whenever I am reeling under the effect of stress. Its a typical headache. But I know it when it begins. I cant do anything but. I take a tablet often but it leaves a sore feeling in my head and body. I hate it. But I cant take a lot of pain too. Hence I just buckle and pop a pill. I have seen that black coffee helps headache but in some cases (like mine) it aggravates it. You can probably try this:
Sit straight in your chair (try the pantry chairs if your chair has a swivel). Take a deep breath, hold it to a count of 5 and then release it very slowly. Imagine that the air that is leaving as breath is black in color. Deep breath will help deconstrict your blood vessels which in turn will help your headache.

The tip is really good. This is a form of creative visualization and even a novice in the field of meditation (people think it to be a great thing) can perform it with ease. The point is with work pressure and stress around, people often don't get time for themselves.
Work pressure is every where - so the best way is to get rid of the stress is to face it and take advantage of the anticipation time - one can train oneself withthe required amount of skills.
I think another great factor which i learnt it from one of my Mentors is "Learn to say no" well it meant if someone is forcing somthing beyond your skills or capabilities just say no. If it is not your work - just say no. This will help you reduce the workpressure at office.

Yeah, friend its quite natural. While we are doing anything under pressure ,especially if we hadn't had a good sleep in the previous night,or we are doing it sleepless,we will surely get a headache,i won't use tablets or capsules for headache, its actually works on the principle pain killers, which may destroy our cells. So i used to use balms, like Wicks.Usually this type headache will get disappeared after a deep sleep.
Happy Mylotting friend.

You are cent percent right. I created this discussion yesterday when I had a big headache due to work pressure. I had hot black coffee at office, it was kind of releaving. I went home, had food, and slept very well. I woke up only this morning - a continuous sleep. Now, I feel very relaxed and I am totally done with the headache. Thanks for the response.

Yes I very often get a headache when I am in stress and this makes me feel more miserable, it takes lot of time for the headache to subside and I also lose my temper in this condition often.

The headache makes me more irritating other than having the tension of completing the work. This makes me shout at other especially to the people who are close to me. I also feel angry and switch off my mobile. I don't feel like talking to anybody at that time. I also take a hot black coffee to come out of the headache. It helps. Thanks for the response.

Exams are a surefire way to get headaches. I have had so many days when I skip studying complaining of a headache. Nowadays I do not do that. But it always works. You can say that you have a migraine and people look at you with a lot of pity. :)

Oh.. really? I had a balck coffee at office. I think it will workout. Thanks for giving me some tips. I don't have paracetamol or any other pain killer. I checked with HR and security, they don't have it too. Usually they keep the first aid box. I have a lot of work and I don't think I will find time to go outside and get tablets.

Under pressure i dont get headaches but i gwet somewhat stressed and irritated. I get headaches whenever I stay Hungry. If I dont take proper food at regular intervals I get headaches. Yes, due to economic recession, the corporates are taking a big advantage of it to exploit the workers and hence these kind of stress things is now common among us.

Yes, I do have. Despite tension headaches being very common there is still much unknown regarding the exact causes, but like most headaches, they are commonly aggravated by stress. It is generally not a severe pain and may be mild enough that it's an inconvenience but you are still able to function. Other times, a tension headache may be more painful and the intensity of it can vary from one headache to another. It is commonly found to begin following specific stresses or challenges an individual may be facing. Stress and tension headaches can involve the contraction and tightening of muscles in the neck, head, and around the back and spine.

I have a real stressful and strenous life and headache is an unwelcomed guest often. I try to cope up with it for a day or two and when there is no end to it i just pop in a tablet of crocin pain killer which gives relief. I usually have it at bedtime and and so the pill with the sleep cures my headache and get up fresh in the morning. I also get headaches when there is no proper sleep at night.

Yes, very very much..and most specially if i don't eat within 5 hours after i first wake up. it really affects my attitude and how i do things. you should always eat something even little or drink water or pain reliever like tylenol. i do that when ever i get a head ache

I used too. In return my boss had an acupuncturist come in the office to give me acupuncture in return no more headaches that was about five years ago. Now I don't get headaches not that often anymore just every once in awhile and then they are not to bad.

It is too much to say that you get a headache when you see a book. If so, you need to consult with a doctor. It is normal to get a headache after studying for a small thing. In taht case you can change the subject you study or have a hot black coffee which will give a refreshment to your brain and take away the headache. All the best. Thanks for the response.

Oh yes I do.. When I am too tired I get headaches and I get irritated too. I easily get annoyed when I need to finish a lot of things and there's unexpected calls or visits or anything that I need to squeeze in my time, it bothers me and I get angry.
The headache and irritation won't go away until I finish everything. So no one should bother me when I am in a hurry to do a lot of things. But after that, I get back to my usual self, ever friendly and calm hehe.
Ciao!

yes, and it's not only a plain headache but a severe one. I get headache if do nothing or bored. Before i also had a task and should meet the dealine or else i won't be paid. What i did was i didn't mind the pressure in able to manage everthing. Sometimes being stress won't help but instead worsen the situation.

Yes, and I hate those type's of headache's. It seem's like when I get one, the only way to get rid of it is to take a long nap.
