How would you feel if someone told you they were coming to pick you up
and gave you a time. .. then didnt show up ..?
Not only that ..to make matters worse..they told you..they'll come tomorrow same
time then also failed to show up???
Finally it's 5th time in row having had this same appointment set up..you
go to meet them..they are coming to pick you up and it doesn't happen
How would you feel? What would you do?

Had i to be in your place i would....
First of all, will not be patient to face the same thing 5th time, i will rather arrange meeting in self's house, so that there is nothing to loose.
I beleive you would be mentioning about some one special ( else you would not have been frustrated).
If this is case then, dont turn up for the next meeting, and show that you are least bothered about the meet. better still show as if you have some else who is more special in your life.

hi : I wish I could appear to "not be bothered" but it's quite obvious that I wear my emotions on my sleeve.. am terribly sensitive.

in that case, my advise, just do not take their calls, or rather allow them to get in touch wi th you, let them feel the pinch,If they really value your feeling, they will frantically follow up with you and ask for apology even when you refuse take thier calls, messages else they will end following up for say 4 - 5 times and will not turn up.
Take care, chill down, never be so sensitive that it hurts your self.
Divert your mind in more productive things you will go places.

The situation is pretty much unavoidable since I have no vehicle.. I have to rely on friends to get me places.

I'd be ticked off, and probably wouldn't schedule another thing with this person again. They obviously don't care how you feel. "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me."

I would be hurt and angry and would not talk to them for a long time. Maybe twice is enough but for more than 3 times and 5 at that, well, I've got to thinking if I have a true friend.
I have experienced something like that but only twice because I just went on my way and the next time the friend said she would come by and pick me up, I shook my head and said no and I'd rather be on my own.
So the next time she came by and pick me up, she came earlier much earlier to make amends on the previous picking me up appointments mishap.

I would be very hurt and angry. I'm sorry that happened to you, was it a "friend" who did this to you? If it was a friend, I'd consider ending the friendship, if it was a transport service, I'd file a complaint.
