It would be hard to do, but i guess that this guy proved that it can be done. the biggest thing that i would miss is not having my computer. We should all learn some survival skills because you never know what is going to happen

if i have no money, maybe i think that i am angry at not buying any thing, although somebody think that something can be replace this money, but several thousand years, people still use money and nothing can replace it,so i don't think that we can live without money,

Whilst it may seem hard just to opt out of the monetary system in this way, I once attended a seminar here in the UK by the speaker David Ike. Everybody thought he was a little mad at the time, but I had to go along to hear what he said. It was about 15 years ago or there abouts, and he said that the monetary systems of the world would eventually collapse and we would all go back to a system of bartering. Well, it hasn't happened yet, even if we've had one or two scares with the credit crunch. It would be a very simple but hard life, but maybe it could work if we were all willing to give up our TVs, cellphones and other luxuries!... - Derek

It would be pretty hard to live without money these days. Even growing your own garden costs money. It isn't cheap like it used to be and some cases it even costs more than if you buy the product at the store. For example, I bought a patio grape tomatoe plant for my patio. I paid $19.95 for it and I got about 12 dozen tomatoes off of it. That sounds like a lot of tomatoes but it really isn't because they are just small mouth size tomatoes. So that many tomatoes is only about 2 baskets of tomatoes if you were to buy them at the store and would have only cost about $7.00. But at least I had fresh tomatoes for a couple months because I would just pick a few each day as they ripened. Where as with buying them from the store they would have to be eated within a week or they would go bad.

Uh, nope. Not my idea of comfort. I could live without most things most people "need", but not without an inside bathroom!! Sorry. And if I had to hunt and kill, then "clean" my prey before cooking and eating it, I would probably starve. I am not good at it in the first place, and I just couldn't actually kill the animal in the second place. Interesting choice he has made though and more power to him!

Hey, I personally don't think that I could live without money. Money is the thing that buys food, provides us with shelter, a bed to live in. If I would have no money, I would not be able to live, I don't know this this guy does it. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I t's amazing! Let me have a look at first I think he must know some outdoor survival skills.Maybe his action is so crazy, but the words he said I think there has a bit meaningful, which is "Money represents lack. Money represents things in the past (debt) and things in the future (credit),but money never represents what is present" W hat we here think about is how much we will earn a day,but this guy's purpose is zero dollars a day. There's no need to have lots of money to a less desire person

That is incredible. I think he will probably be among one of the only survivors if we ever get hit by a huge disaster or catastrophe.

looks like some one went back to the stone age and tries to survive with only food. what? eating rabbits and deers? it would have been better if he was eating deers, i mean rabbits can be good as pets. i don't think il survive with out money, unless i got a farm that is.

People who don't have any money learn to survive in other ways. If you live in the rural areas where food and water are in abundance, you do not need to buy food for your entire life. Otherwise how do you think humans lived thousands of years ago before money was first used? Clothes could be made from leaves and tree barks; simple huts for shelter could also be built using the same resources. The only form of light at night is by lighting up fires. The only work you do is farming and hunting. Your only mode of transportation is a raft of a boat. Yes, people have lived without money; there are still people like that in the deep jungles. And they live happily with their families.

But on those days people used to exchange things as money or purchasing power. It was called barter system. But this looks like extreme.

I can't imagine living my life without money. Maybe he can because he is living in a cave, there are no store there, there are no malls there so that purchase is not possible. But here in the city, in order to have a food, a gas, a dress, or things etc, we need to have a money in exchange with purchase. As it says money makes the world go round, because money is just a cycle. In our world of fast pace, we need money to survive.

For someone like him no need for money. But in this world where we buy things for ourself we need money. Remember the saying money is the root of all evil, but I would say money is also the source of all good things. If money is taken from bad ways then it is bad but if it is hard earned money thats good. Anything good is good and anything bad is never good.

Money is only a sort of buying anything including foods. But not at all we can rely in it. Because if we are in a remote areas that no money. We need to learn living with no money at all. In the mountain we can live without money. But if are in the city...It's hard to live without money. In the mountain we can live because there are many foods there to eat. Like fruits, wild animals and many others... Now, I would say yes we can live without money if we are in the mountain or in province. But if we are in urban areas like cities I don't imagine if can live without asking for help to someone to buy some foods... How about how you can manage being live without money?

That is an interesting article!!! I have been to Moab in Utah, the surrounding desert is amazingly beautiful. I would like to live out there, but I do not know if I could do it for as long as him though! I could live with no money, providing I got myself set up on some land first with fresh water and fruit trees and a vegetable garden. Once that was set in place, what more do you need other than shelter? When you compare his lifestyle to the lifestyles of the masses who travel hours to and from a job that they dislike everyday just to get enough money to scrape by, I know which one sounds more appealing to me!

Daniel Suelo is one of the exceptional. Nope, I cannot live without money because you can almost buy everything with money.
