Last book I've read was The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. It's the story of a man who could travel instantly through time and space, living and reliving his life through his travels, and his wife whose narratives provide the counterpoints to his dimension. Its movie adaptation is currently showing in the theaters. Two thumbs up, highly recommended! What's the latest book that you've read, and would you suggest everyone to read it?

I read "The Time Traveler's Wife" when it first came out (2003-4?). I can barely remember it, but I do remember enjoying it! I haven't seen the movie as I try not to see them if I have read the book. It just ruins it for me. I think the last book I read was "Testimony" by Anita Shreve. I've enjoyed all of her books since I read "The Pilot's Wife" years ago. (www.anitashreve.com)

Still haven't seen the movie too, and I'd probably just wait for a DVD release. As with movie adaptations, I think it's better to suspend any expectations from the text. As you say, it really might ruin it, so I just try to enjoy the movie on its own merits (with varying successes though).

The characters in my mind are always so much better than the actors on the screen! I always think.. WHAT! THATS NOT HIM. LOL

The last book I completely read would have been the last book of the Harry Potter series. That probably explains in part why Rowling is so rich now. Even people who seldom take the time to read books read hers.

I've been reading the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. They are the kind that once you start reading, you don't want to put it down. It is very interesting, I have book reviews about them on my website. I love to read, so I read lots. I plan on starting The Time Traveler's Wife this weekend. My daughter has read it and says it is very good.

the last book that i read was "notes to myself", 'my struggle to become a person'. by 'Hugh Prather' this is a non fiction. if you read the book once you would feel it is something from your life. every word seems to reflect the reader's life. i keep reffering to the book off and on when i am entangled in some trouble.

The latest book that I am currently reading is a book by Sandra Brown, called Smash Cut. It is a fiction and pretty good. It is about a lawyer who tries to find the killer who killed a rich man. I would suggest others read this because it is quite interesting....it has to be for me to keep reading. LOL...

I read several books together,so it's hard to tell which is the last book I've read. er,maybe Catch As Catch Can by Joseph Heller is the latest book. For me,I don't think it's worth reading, though Joseph Heller has writed the famous book Catch-22.I finish this book for two weeks. But I have no idea what is Joseph Heller would like to say, maybe that's because I have not ever read Catch-22 before. beeduzhe

The last book i read was LORD OF THE RINGS by J.Tolkein. Its an excellent book that was later made into an all time great trilogy Lord of the rings. The book is fascinating and as long as you read the book you think that the work is of real. You will never think that its a work of fiction... I will strongly recommend that book for everyone...

The last book, or I guess I should say books that I read were the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. I had watched the Twilight movie, which is based off the first book in the series, and I really liked it. My sister recommended that since I liked the movie, I would probably also really like the books. She was right. I loved the books, and had a hard time putting them down. I would try to read at least one chapter every night before bed since I do not have any other times during the day to read. There were many nights that i stayed up much too late because I just had to find out what was going to happen next. They are definitely a good read, and very easy to get into. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone, however, some people might not enjoy this type of book as much as others because it is about vampires. I saw it as more of a love story though, and so if you enjoy love stories you may enjoy these books too.
