I love to read but being a busy mom of 3 I don't always have the time. I try to catch up on it on the bus ride to and from work, but other than that I just dont have the time.
Does anyone else have this problem?

I know where you're coming from. I'm a stay at home mom and there never seems to be enough "me" time. I bring a book with me to doctor's offices and other places where I might be waiting for a while. I always try to read at night after the kids get to bed. I'm usually lucky if I can read two pages before I'm totally exhausted for sleep.

I find time to read while my son naps during the day, between loads of laundry that is, lol. I find that I do most of my reading in the evening when myson is in bed for the night and the house is as clean as its going to get. My son is an early sleeper, he's usually asleep around 7:30 so I have a good amount of time before bed to get things in order and get in a decent amount of reading. Hope things calm down for you so you can get some more reading time in for yourself.

I used to read during my breaks at work, I did not usually have time to sit down and just read otherwise. But since I lost my job last December, I now have plenty of time for reading. I always take a book to read when I'm travelling as well, especially flying. I've got to have something to read to relieve the tedium of the waiting around and then hours and hours in the air...

I haven't had much time to read lately.... not because I'm particularly busy or anything, just that I always find something else to do, like play video games or whatnot. With reading I mean really sit down to read a book. I do a lot of reading in my computer, mostly ebooks, but I miss reading an actual book. I think I should make time for it one of these days.

Please don't take offense to this question, but do you not have time to read because your children are very young or because you're one of those parents who subscribes to the idea that they have to watch their children like a hawk at all times when not at work?
If your children are still very small (infant- 4 years) then maybe you could find time to read when they take naps? Or put them in a playpen where they aren't likely to get hurt or get into something they shouldn't while they play and then do your reading while they play? If they're school age, or even if just one or two of them is school age, couldn't you just tell them to go outside and play while you read? That way you could get some reading in and they could have fun adventures and be proud of accomplishing things on their own without Mom standing over their shoulder.
I don't mean to offend or accuse, I'm just curious.

I do not have this kind of problem, as my son is not living with me. I hope I can find a way to earn at home so I can take care of him by myself.
I admire you! Taking care of 3 kids and have a job! Wonderful mon!
